I’ve seen the greens in better shape
Enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Course layout is really good; it played more challenging when the wind blowing. We were disappointed with the greens. They were so bumpy, so need to read the greens because the bumps on the greens negated all reads. Lol. The bunker sand are really good, BUT nobody ever raked their footsteps. That is bad golf Karma.
Good course layout. Some bare spots in the fairways. Was slow on the front nine but picked up on the back. I would recommend this course.
Average at best
Staff were friendly and easy to work with. Club house nice. Course layout was fine. Course conditions were poor. Front 9 was slightly better than back 9. Many bare spots in fairways. IMO this is not a 4 star rating as described on GolfNow.
Marginal course.
Greens rolled well and were in good shape
Fairways on back nine horrible shape. We finished 4 1/2 hrs. About right for this time of year. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We paid $160 with cart for our two some. Not worth the price!!
Great course for the money
This was a great course for the price. Pace was very slow. almost 5 hours for the round.
Ssssssssslow…
If you plan on playing at noon or later in the day, be ready for the pace to be slow. Five hours to finish was way too long. Luckily we got to finish, so be prepared to not complete the round.
Fun Course to Play
We enjoyed our round of golf at RiverWalk and will play there again during our 2 month stay in San Diego. The staff was friendly and the starter was organized and vigilant at getting people out at their assigned times. The course is not long, but fun to play. Several of the holes have water hazards. The greens are in great condition and provided many challenging putts on their sloped surfaces. We recommend this course for a fun afternoon of golf!!
Definitely a River Course
After all the rain we had there was a lot of water in the fairways. Many drives in the fairway were always laying in a puddle. Pace of play was extremely slow. Waited on every hole.
Great and friendly Course
My wife and I played this course for the first time when we were on vacation and we were paired with two local gentlemen and they truly made it a fun and friendly experience.
