The course used to be in great shape.

Fairways are dried out & really hard.

No grass around the greens so it's really difficult for up & down. Half of the greens got punched which I don't mind but they didn't mentioned when we booked. Disappointed round for us.

Koz

Great course, nice variety between front and back nines, need to change 5 min tee times on weekends too slow. Tourney that day so maybe not like that all the time.

A hard course made more player friendly.

The course was in great shape, however we were behind a tournament that was a little slow. Finished in 4 3/4 hrs. This course used to be a killer with 3 sets of tees, it was long and narrow. Still quite challenging, but two tee boxes have been added to make it much more player friendly!

Great Course , Best Price!

Best Course in Orange Country right now condition wise for the price. Bunkers are cut nice and have nice white sand. Greens rolled pretty nice. Most tee boxes were nice and flat.

Course could be nice if they watered it

The fairways were painted green to try to disguise the dead hard grass. Good luck hitting a good second or third shot from the fairway or rough

Great Challenge

Course was in fairly good shape. I plan on returning in the spring when the grass will be much greener and not in the dormant stage. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Short but Challenging Course

This course is in good condition considering the water conservation. The green is always good and challenging. It doesn't require long drive but you need to hit the good precise shot. Not much margin for error on certain holes.

The pace is always good too. Just the most recent round, we had a very slow 4somes in front (just not ready golf type) but we still manage to complete the round in 4 hours 15 minutes.

Food and drink is overpriced though. So I always bring my own water and snack.

Very enjoyable round

Course in excellent shape. Greens deceptively quick. We were running late for our 11:50 tee time. Called ahead and no problem. Teed off probably around 12:30-12:45 and finished just as it was getting dark. Paid $62 for a Wednesday noonish round. A little pricey on the weekend, but they do have annual Coyote Club membership which pays for itself in 3-4 rounds. Worth it if you know you are gonna play there at least that often in a year.

Great course - mostly great staff - had a blast!

The course was excellent. The gentleman in the pro shop was awesome. The crotchety guy at the range shop not so much.

Once I got past the range guy, I had an absolute blast.

Will definitely be back!

Broken gps

Went out on a Sunday morning. Course was in great shape and beautiful facilities. The course comes equipped with gps on the cart (as advertised) however ours didn't work. We told the starter and were told it would reset. No joy. On hold #2 we asked the cart girl to see if she could get us another cart. She said they bring one out to us. No Joy. We ran into her again on the 8 th.hole and she said she notified them. We ended up trading carts at the turn. The staff in pro shop said sorry. I normally wouldn't complain but at $100 I would think they offer us free beer or somthing.

Coyote Hills: Tee Times every 5 mins

Coyote hills was a fun and somewhat challenging course. It was in great shape other than some aerating we didnt know about. There were many elevation changes that added to the scenery. Food in the restaurant was good as well.

I would say the biggest negative is that they have tee times every 5 minutes. Some holes we played pretty quick and then would be backed up by 2-3 groups on other holes. That was with the tee times around ours not being filled.

Overall I would recommend the course. It was fun and challenging with plenty of views.

nice course, slow round

pace was extremely slow (6 hours) due to very slow group ahead. Marshal was not effective in speeding it up. Made for a very frustrating round.

Have played here a couple times, and have always been more than satisfied. Plays great for short players, and forces longer players to tee off with clubs other than a driver
