Island Pointe Golf Club

The course is in fantastic shape. Greens are beautiful. The only issue was with fire ants on some of the tee boxes.

Played this course while on vacation in the smokies, excellent course and had a great time.

One of my favorite courses in the Knoxville area.

Excellent layout....fairways and greens in very good condition.....traps need attention...

Played 8-27 & 8-28-18. Yes, the cart paths are not smooth everywhere and the sand traps need some more sand - that's the only negatives. However, if you want a very good course with excellent, zoysia fairways and superb bermuda greens, this is your course. Tees are good, too. Rough is high enough to punish a shot that misses the fairway, but not too high. Friendly staff, nice scenery, and very, fair price. The positives FAR outweigh imperfect cart paths and thin sand traps.

I played here for first time today and really liked the layout. Very nice fairways and greens. The only minor complaint was the tee boxes were shaggy and a couple of bunkers were very rocky. The course is very beautiful and a great setting for golf.

Had an excellant experience! Don behind the counter was very friendly and gave tips on how to play the course. The scenery was beautiful and the course is challenging. I suggest if you have the time play the course it’s a great course. Shout out to Don thank you for making this vacation a great.

This is a must play course in the Knoxville -,Seiverville area....

Greens and fairways in great condition...traps in need of sand....(stay out and you won't notice..lol)

Pace of play was a little slow due to multiple groups in front causing us to wait on most tee boxes..

Will definitely return...

Course is very tight. Lots of trees. Pretty good shape. Rough is long and thick. Lots of ups and downs and some blind shots. Overall good value.

What a wonderful experience playing Rivers Island Golf Course! We played on a Tuesday and had the course to ourselves! Pat Toth greeted us at the door, got us checked in and on our way (the rate was very good, no need for a military discount)

The course starts out pretty simple, short par 4, fairways nice, greens nice... Then the par 3's! Over the French Broad River, the sites the wild life... WE had a blast, did a replay, yep, played 36 and had the course to ourselves, literally. If you haven't played this course, you should. Pat, you are doing great things there and we will be back next year and this time hopefully bringing 8!

My son and I had a great time playing a round at the Rivers Island. The course was in nice shape and it was a great layout. I definitely will look to go back next time we are in the area.

Beautiful course. The scenery is gorgeous. The lay out was very fun. Each hole featured a different approach and look. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Like hitting off of carpet. I played my best round of the year here. The course was not busy at all. It was midweek and midday. I will definitely play this course again if I’m back in the area. Very friendly and informed proshop staff.

The maintenance staff have worked very hard to bring this course back from nearly dead, to looking almost perfect again. I highly recommend playing this course.

Course is in FANTASTIC shape. Crews were out doing patches to the cart paths and mowing. Too the time to talk with a couple of grounds crew members and parson in the pro shop. Everyone seems to be working very hard to keep the course in excellent shape. Most of the sand traps had been redone and more sand coming next week to do more. Definitely a MUST PLAY course if ever in the Knoxville, TN area.

This course is in fantastic condition. The fairways and greens are excellent. It is a very scenic course with the river winding throughout the course. With the various tee boxes, it is great for all levels of play.

Signature hole always keeps me on my toes(good). Great layout to mix between par 3s and par 4s.
