With multiple tees and yardages available, the Boulder Course presents a challenging yet accommodating layout for players. From the Cimarron Tees, the course measures 6,747 yards, featuring a course rating of 72.0 and a slope of 124. Alongside the Championship Boulder Course, Cimarron Golf Resort also provides an executive par 55, called the Pebble Course, as well as excellent practice amenities that include a grass driving range, a short game area, and a putting green. Regardless of the season, Cimarron Golf Resort is a destination that should not be missed while in Palm Springs.

Great views, course is a little patchy

Fun course with great views. If the winds are up it is super difficult. Greens are nice, fairway and tee box have some lumpy patches. Overall good value compared to other similarly priced courses.

Cimarron Golf Course- Boulders

Overall a good experience. Course seemed to be in good shape. A few of the tee box markers were set on uneven surfaces, number 17 for example we had to step back and tee up well behind the markers to avoid having one foot above the other. Not sure why you’d ever place markers that way. Staff were great and food service was good. The beverage cart person drove up the middle of the fairway a few times instead of the cart path. Thought that was odd. Look forward to playing the Pebble course someday.

Shotgun start group put out just ahead of us

We should have had time to get the full 18 in with a 12:15 start time. But they made us wait for a shotgun start group. We could have started on #6 and bypassed them but they wouldn’t allow. So we had to wait on every hole. Sometimes 2 groups on the tee!!! So, by 4:35 we were on #16 when I had to pack it in with darkness approaching. Too bad because it’s a good course in great condition.

Course layout was pretty basic. All the holes run parallel back and forth. I don’t remember one dog leg. The course was well maintain with a nice back drop

I would play it again..says it all. There are a few hiccups that were caused by Hurricane Hilary.. such as not playing out of the wash & many small rocks in many bunkers.

Fast & firm greens

Course was well maintained. Unfortunately Hurricane Hilary caused some damage to the wash areas but not to the fairways. The bunkers were ok..but still needed minor rocks to be removed. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable.

We will play it again.

Starter/pace awful, course great

When there is a tournament in the morning, you cannot have teetimes every eight minutes after the tournament. They were fivesomes In the tournament and they were playing at a slow pace, so the first public teetimes of the day were backed up

coming from canada, this is a go to course of mine, however, the green fee has increased a lot, i do realize the course got flooded in august and had to quickly rebuild, which was amazing to see and play, but the cost went up at least $50 usd.

Nice day for golf

After playing recently on a real windy day it was great to play on a calm day. Course conditions were excellent but pace of play slow. It took 4.5 hours to play but only 4 hours on the windy day.
