About
Cimarron's Boulder course is desert in location, but almost links in feel. It's hard to imagine even the most beer-cart-fueled hacker thinking they're in Scotland. Considering the bright sun, the striking San Jacinto Mountains and all. But …
"We've had many golfers tell us it reminds them of the British Open," head pro Jason Janke said. "For what we have in the desert, this is probably the closest course to that."
At 6,782 yards from the back tees, Cimarron challenges with length and accuracy. It's wise to keep your ball in the fairway here or you'll get some up-close desert views. Still with three par 4s over 450 yards and two par 5s over 560 yards, bombing away with your driver is anything but completely ignored.

Off season play
This course was great to play! The course itself was well maintained and green. The heat was intense but hey it was 9 AM in the beginning of June lol. We ran into the group keeper and he would stop mowing just to watch us miss a few times, other courses would make you wait until they finished mowing that section. Definitely recommend this course and will be back with my employees soon! Thank you guys!

Good Value
Fun day. Very hot, so course was wide open and got around in a bit over 3 hours. Basically, a links course in the desert. Lot of similarity in holes, but still very fun. Tees can make the course as challenging as you need. If it was windy, could see it being a beast. For the price versus other valley courses was a great value.

Great Course to play
Great time golfing here. Course was in good shape and pass was good. Course is straight forward. Staff could have been happier, but it was an early tee time.

Great course in good condition. Everything pretty straight forward. Staff could have been more friendly, but it was early in the morning when we TeeOff. Would definitely play again and recommend to others.

Great layout for a piece of flat land
This course is always a delight. Lots of bunkers and large greens. This course is a par 71 with 5 par 3's, so the total yardage of the course plays longer than your regular course. Blue tees will give you lots of long irons into greens, so I would jockey down to the whites unless you hit your drives consistently over 250 yards. They will be aerating the first week of June, so play now or wait till July for the greens to heal.

Well maintained and very fun course to start the day!
Played here with my sons on our inaugural golf trip and the end results only make us think we are pretty good and consistent! Well maintained and easy to play without the wait on a weekend morning. Thoughtfully enjoyed it!

A great day for our group
Have played this course many times, in all conditions. It’s always been kind to me (except for the first time haha). Huge, straight greens, and wide fairways. Great for all ,Evers of golfers. Played the middle tees and had a really fun time.

Good round
The greens were aerated recently but starting to come back. The fairways are in good condition. I love the layout of this course, i always score well and the conditions were perfect …. Not too hot and just a gentle breeze. It’s one of my top choices for summer golf.

Great conditions tee to green. My kind of course — wide fairways no trees little water excellent conditions. And I only paid $41 for a Friday round in May. Will definitely play again.

Great course for the money
We enjoyed our round. The course was in good shape. The clubhouse and staff were very friendly - good food. We played when a major windstorm came up so it was challenging but still fun. I would recommend this as a great deal for your money and I would come back again.
