About
Cimarron's Boulder course is desert in location, but almost links in feel. It's hard to imagine even the most beer-cart-fueled hacker thinking they're in Scotland. Considering the bright sun, the striking San Jacinto Mountains and all. But …
"We've had many golfers tell us it reminds them of the British Open," head pro Jason Janke said. "For what we have in the desert, this is probably the closest course to that."
At 6,782 yards from the back tees, Cimarron challenges with length and accuracy. It's wise to keep your ball in the fairway here or you'll get some up-close desert views. Still with three par 4s over 450 yards and two par 5s over 560 yards, bombing away with your driver is anything but completely ignored.

Nice course
This is a nice course for senior golfers not to long from the whites and a simple layout it’s good for the egos

Great course for the money
We enjoyed our round. The course was in good shape. The clubhouse and staff were very friendly - good food. We played when a major windstorm came up so it was challenging but still fun. I would recommend this as a great deal for your money and I would come back again.

Might. D the best value for cost in the Valley. Course was in very good condition. Nice pace of play. Greens are good and relatively fast

Etiquette classes for new golfers should be required
Course was great. However came up on a foursome of keystone cops that looked like I was watching a Benny Hill show in front of me on about the 5 th hole. Stuck there the rest of the way. How hard is it to wave a single golfer through? Then on 18, in a 25 mph gale force wind, they all took 3 minutes each to putt out for their respective 115 - 120 scores. I recommend the course.

Great course for the money
Always fun to play the course, especially if you have not played in a while. Generous landing areas and interesting holes make for fun. Greens could be a little quicker, but they ate tricky to read.

Decent course
I went out as a single at 11 AM in April. Hooked up with 2 nice gentlemen. Pace of play was OK considering mid-day. We waited a lot but it was about a 4:15 round. Acceptable. Course conditions were OK. Greens a little slower than I would like but relatively smooth. Tees, Fairways and Bunker were good. The tees you play will make a big difference in the challenge of the course as there are relatively narrow landing areas. Layout pretty straightforward. A decent course. There are better (and more expensive) courses in the Coachella Valley but this was the right price for what it offered

Short Course Great Conditions
First time playing here. Built into a river bed so flat and unusually short for a full 18. Conditions we’re great and a very forgiving layout and greens. Definitely a confidence boosting course.
