About
Cimarron's Boulder course is desert in location, but almost links in feel. It's hard to imagine even the most beer-cart-fueled hacker thinking they're in Scotland. Considering the bright sun, the striking San Jacinto Mountains and all. But …
"We've had many golfers tell us it reminds them of the British Open," head pro Jason Janke said. "For what we have in the desert, this is probably the closest course to that."
At 6,782 yards from the back tees, Cimarron challenges with length and accuracy. It's wise to keep your ball in the fairway here or you'll get some up-close desert views. Still with three par 4s over 450 yards and two par 5s over 560 yards, bombing away with your driver is anything but completely ignored.

Best for the price
Tee boxes are good (at least the tips)
Fairways are good
Greens rolled smooth and true
Pace was as quick as I could handle
Customer service was great! Edgar the cart guy was super helpful
Only minus was no beverage cart (it was 1:40pm tee time so I wasn't expecting to see anybody that late in the day). Also no shade so bring sunscreen or umbrella if you burn easily.

Always in good condition
Played mid day as a single. Went around in 2&1/2 hours. Greens & fairways in good shape for Mid August in the desert. The biggest drawback in the summer is there is really no shade to park your cart under. So bring lots of cold water even though it says no outside beverages. Ice chest with ice is on cart. They don’t have a beverage cart coming around. And no water on the course. So, don’t risk heat stroke. Just sayin. Overall, a good round of golf here.

Hot Weather, Good Golf Course
The temperature was in three digits during our play, but for the value and the course my daughter and I had a great time. Greens are still in need of improvement since it must have been aerated recently.

Wide open track
Course was in pretty good shape, though greens had been punched fairly recently and were still a little bumpy. We had a 9:45 tee time, and we just encountered one single who we let play through on the back nine. This is pretty much a grip it and rip it course. If you hit it fairly straight, the only real defense is some bunkers and the length of the holes. An enjoyable round worth the money.

Wait until fall or have low expectations
front nine Is closed, punched greens. they are being laid back about replays so I played the back twice then played the pebble (both were in decent shape for this time of year). so basically 36 holes in 3 hours. that course always has a nice breeze too. for around $30 I would say its worth it.

Off season play
This course was great to play! The course itself was well maintained and green. The heat was intense but hey it was 9 AM in the beginning of June lol. We ran into the group keeper and he would stop mowing just to watch us miss a few times, other courses would make you wait until they finished mowing that section. Definitely recommend this course and will be back with my employees soon! Thank you guys!

Good Value
Fun day. Very hot, so course was wide open and got around in a bit over 3 hours. Basically, a links course in the desert. Lot of similarity in holes, but still very fun. Tees can make the course as challenging as you need. If it was windy, could see it being a beast. For the price versus other valley courses was a great value.

Great time golfing here. Course was in good shape and pass was good. Course is straight forward. Staff could have been happier, but it was an early tee time.
