Legend at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

I've played this course somewhat regularly for the past several years. Well maintained, helpful and courteous staff, nicely equipped bar/restaurant and club house. Not fancy, but clean and welcoming. This past Sunday the 17th started out fine, 12:50pm tee time meant no slow play if we were to finish before dark. We were easily keeping pace when at the 3rd hole a 4-some in two cards bypassed the group in back of us and us, jumping ahead with no ask to do so. At the 9th hole turn I reported this to the Course Marshall statin they didn't ask play (although they sped past us) through. The marshall confirmed the other group was not asked either. I expected him to expel them from the course; rather he believed the rule breakers and not my group or the other group (we did not know them, ny the way). He said "what can I do?". I suspect he knew them and gave them a pass. Shame on you buddy! Makes me know wonder what I can get away with.

For $43 using Golf Now Tacquiz Creek Legend course is pretty hard to beat. Course was in excellent shape. Greens a bit slow. Two of us got our round in in under 4 hours.

Been coming to Palm Springs for 30 years and this course is always in great shape and a great bang for the buck. Never understood why the staff isn’t as friendly as others, but aside from that you’ll enjoy your round.

Pros: Playable wide fairways. Everything is laid out in front of you. No severe slopes on the greens. Friendly staff. Staff let us out early with no bookings in front or behind us. Finished the round in just over 3hrs.

Cons: Green fees over $100 is way overpriced for a public course.On this day golfers left many unrepaired ball marks on the greens.

An interesting layout, a few holes in the “wash”. Condition good - a surprise !

I would enjoy playing this Course again.

Long course for seniors, the combo tees are over 6,200 yards! Long second shot carries to many elevated greens. Fair setup, though.

Course in good condition, but not excellent due to the summer hurricane fairway damage (several holes, but especially #18). Pro shop staff not particularly friendly, but Starters were excellent. I'd play again, but prefer the Resort Course at the same site.

We were met by a friendly bag/ cart person. Checked in with a friendly Proshop. Went to range to loosen up and started on time. Had a great time and a friendly cart girl. Finished play to a friendly cart assistant

After getting ground up at the higher end courses all week ( SilverRock has more sand than grass…) Tahquitz was just what my golf swing needed. Traditional, tree lined, great greens, very enjoyable place to play.

Amazing views and Amazing course very friendly to beginners did not lose one ball. Lol

Enjoyed the round immensely we barely finished by dark 4 1/2 or five hour around and no Marshall to keep things moving, a great course layout but obviously I need some water other than a few homeless people. It was a fun time.

My wife and I played this course twice. It was a very nice course with friendly staff and great views of the mountains. I highly recommend this course.
