Nice Quick Round, solid course experience all around

First time playing here, teed off at 730 as a single on the Resort course, Starter was friendly and helpful, 3 some asked me to join on the first tee but it looked pretty wide open so I kindly declined and proceeded to play a 3.5 hour casual round. Had a fresh deli sandwich and a draft IPA post round for only 7 bucks and enjoyed the beautiful views on the patio. Only complaint would be the greens were rolling a bit slow.

My Tahquitz Creek Experience .

The Course is very Beautiful and very well maintained the Mountain views around the course were simply breathtaking. The Staff was very helpfull and courteous, I would highly recommend Tahquitz Creek Golf course to my friends and looking forward to playing again on Wednesday and on my future trips to Palm Springs.

This course has an excellent layout.

I had a 6 am tee time and was fortunate enough to play as a single. I had no problem with waiting and breezed right through the round.

Fun course, excellent routing, very good conditions!!

We enjoyed playing this course. Fun and challenging with some water features and fabulous Mountain View’s of Mount San Jacinto.

We plan to play it again this week.

Starter/Ranger was a little over the top as we played easily in less than four hours for four golfers.

Nice Course but lots of single groups

Course is nice, well maintained, friendly staff, no problems anywhere there....what was strange (and ultimately a bit annoying) was how many groups they allowed to go out as a single.

I had a 7:40ish tee time. They told me I’m playing as a single today. Told me the tee time/ “group” before me was also a single. Starter suggested we play together on his tee time, but that guy didn’t want to “because he’s not very good” in his own words. I played up on him, then played up on a couple groups..then got stuck behind 2 separate single players in different groups, who also didn’t want to group up.

Long story short, while I thought it’d be great to play as a single, I realized I wasn’t the only one so it really messed with the flow/rate of play.

Not sure if they send out so many singles regularly or whether it’s a COVID or one-off occurrence, but that’s my only serious critique of the course.

All that said, you might not mind but I did.

Great golf, bring your own water!

The only services were in the pro shop, no water or beverage service anywhere in the course.

The night before you go, make sure to freeze at least two water bottles per person. To make sure you can stay hydrated and have cool water.
