Nice course in normal off season condition
The course was best suited as an for a leasurely round of golf. Nice for snowbirds
Great day out
Nice people, fun course, good conditions, and nice weather. What more could you ask for? Lower scores are up to you.
Challenging for the average golfer, but enjoyable!
This course used to be 27 holes, but changed to 18; miss the other nine! Great staff, course in fair shape for time of year, some greens need work, but overall good condition! Staff is very outgoing! A lot of practice area options, range, putting, chipping. Has twilight rates, sometimes busy then!
Very nice course
Great layout and enjoyed myself. Greens were still growing in winter mix so they were really slow. Staff was great and very helpful. Recommend to anyone. Staff is working hard to keep in top shape. I would play here again.
Great value and super friendly staff!
Very good layout! Challenging enough if you're a bit off-line, but rewarded fariways hit with good approach angles to the greens. Some forced carries, but room to fit the shot into the pin, or bail out to the fat part of the green is you lacked the confidence to pull off the shot. I liked it a lot!
Played here a number of years.
Course conditions remain well maintained and as challenging as you want to make it. A marshal would be appreciated to keep things moving, especially on weekends. The staff has been the same friendly crew for years. If the fees charged were competetive with Jacksonville courses I would play here more often.
Good course & great deal
Used Golfnow for tee time and got a great deal. Course was in good shape with greens rated 7 out of 10. Will play again.
Good course, slow play
All aspects of the course and staff were good but our foursome of middle handicappers found that we had to wait on almost every tee. It wasn't a matter of being behind one small group, it was backed up for as far ahead as we could see. Overall I had a good time but I prefer to play at a faster rate.
Beautiful course and fun to play.
Great condition. Tees for every level of skill.
Pace of play was great.
Fun, Very Nice Staff, Good Conditions
I go back and forth with the value of this course. If you find a 'Hot Deal' then take advantage as it's worth every penny. Regular greens fees are a bit aggressive. Course is almost always in good to excellent condition. Challenge is moderate. Par 3 8th hole with a back left pin is one of my all-time favorite Par 3's really challenging and fun hole. The following Par 5 9th I really enjoy also. Both holes have a great look to them and play challenging and fair. Par 4 15th is a unique and fun hole also. Staff is nice and very welcoming. I play here about once a month and would recommend.
GREAT GOLF COURSE
I LINE IN ST AUGUSTINE AND HAVE THE OPTION TO PLAY MANY GOLF COURSES IN THE AREA
ST JOHNS IS RATED #2 WITH MY GROUP WE PLAY THIS COURSE 2 TIMES A WEEK
#1 IS PUBLO CREEK
A good value and challenging course.
I was fotunate enough to have played this course on back to back days this week. Day one was a little rough as we had a foursome two groups on front of us who believed they should be able to play when they wanted and as slow as they pleased. The second day was much better for time.
This is a course where a lot of water comes into play, and the design really wants you to say grip it and rip it, so you do and the ball delivers itself up to the water gods. Frustration sets in because you know you can get over that water so one or two more balls get wet.
My only negative comment would be to keep the fishermen off the course during the dyay. They can be annoying, especially one fishing and three watching him fish and all whooping and hollering if the sportsman get a bite, (but never a fish).
Greens
I judge most golf clubs by the greens. Theses greens could be really nice. Maybe they need another two weeks before they can cut the greens shorter. Speed around 9. You still have to bang the putts to get to the hole.
The rest of the course needs some work. Would I play it again. Yes if the price stays under $ 28.00.
Extremely well-maintained course, extremely friendly people.
We have golfed here several times and have always had great experiences.
It's in excellent condtion
All of the greens are in pristine condition. and the fairways are well taken care of, making for an enjoyable day of golf. Now if I could just get my short game honed.
The course is above average and the staff is super friendly.
Overall the course conditions are above average. Some holes are challenging and some are fairly straightforward. It is comfortable to play there.
My friends and I enjoyed playing the course. The best greens I have played this fall.

A really nice layout.
This course has a really nice layout and plenty of water. There are a lot of dog legs as well. It's a risk reward course. You can cut some corners or shoot for the center of fairways. Its in really good condition and the staff was super friendly. I'll definitely be back.
Wide open course. Friendly staff.
Nice course and setup. Good greens. Hank the starter is awesome.
