Lakewood Country Club

This is my favorite course to play in Long Beach and in Southern California. The greens were true, fairways were manicured and the landscape is beautiful. Thank you for remaining open and offering us a safe place to enjoy and play the game of golf I love so much.

This course was maintained very nice. Greens and fairways were awesome. Lots of trees and a few water holes that make it a little more challenging. I am a novice golfer but still had an extremely awesome time being able to play a well maintained course for the price.

first time for four of us. My wife and I walked while other 2 young ones rode carts. We were bit slow, but no one seemed upset and appreciate other fellow golfers.

Fairways and greens cut a little long, but in good condition .

I was play for only 3 hour 30 min

Nice greens. Short rough. High handicapper heaven. Some water.

We teed off at 11:45AM on a Tuesday but only able to play 15 holes before it got dark. We were on a 6 hour pace. Three 5-somes were so slow we had to wait at least 5-10 mins almost every hole.

Played this course quite a few times and would rank it to be about average all around. I think it's worth playing now and then but wouldn't hold it up as a favorite. A bit more challenging to score well considering how easy it looks on the score card.

The fairways are pretty wide and spacious while still have troubles needing navigating. Good mix of par 3/4/5, fun times. We were lucky the group ahead of played fast and the group behind us took their time.
