LPGA International - Jones Course

From my experience playing in the Daytona area, you can always count off LPGA to be in leg I I am shake. Especially during winter months

Only one small issue. On the 16th hole we caught up to a foursome who moved at a very leisurely pace. They always managed to drive at least one cart to the front edge of the green. On hole 18 it started to rain which predictably caused them to pick up the pace a wee bit. We will be back.

Bad timing for us-they had a tournament before our tee time and we were unable to play the Jones because it was severely backed up-they had to switch us to the Hills course where the pace of play was bad-it took us 5 hours to finish the Hills course-very poor management of the tourney and not letting customers know that their tee time was in jeopardy. Tee boxes fair shape, greens fairly bumpy-maintaining pace of play in tournaments is crucial and management did a very poor job of this

The course was as expected in good condition appropriate for the price. I was surprised the fairways were quite wide. If you hit the ball straight it is possible to score. Wayward drives will be like a day at the beach with lengthy and wide bunkers. Greens are predictable with constant speed and moderate breaks. If you enjoy the front the back will be even better. Enjoy.

Many courses in the area in equal to better condition for far less than LPGA is charging. Don’t mind paying a premium, but unlike previous years (and I saw this start last year w the carts), a premium product was not presented. On 18 holes, I saw a grand total of 3 bunker rakes!!! Fairways not over-seeded, so everything looks dormant and greens were barely rolling at 7. Long time supporter of these 2 great courses. Not anymore, until they bring a premium product back, to match the price premium. Extremely disappointed.

Got rained out last month and gave it another try. Not my first time. I was a single and played behind a very slow 4some who were having fun but had no clue about golf etiquitte. Finally I got to play through and the pace was much more enjoyable. Front 9 wide open but back 9 no so. Greens smooth not really fast, Fairways and traps well maintained. Unfortunately, the restrooms on the course were not very clean and looked like they had not been maintained on adaily basis. Otherwise a good day out on a very nice course.

They had too many singles and doubles. They should’ve paired golfers up to speed up play. Also, they let groups tee off on the back 9 ahead of everyone who started on the front leading to even slower play.

Windy and cold day, course was in great shape, would recommend anytime. Played Jones course and got a great deal on GN. Carts are old but serviceable, fairways are big and 1st cut was easy to get out of. Greens we’re fast & true. Great day to get out the day after Xmas!

I was expecting a much more challenging course being a LPGA course. I played from the white tees and found the course fairly pedestrian. From the black tees I'm sure the course is mush more challenging. I can't play 7000 yard course anymore. The greens were fun. Held well, rolled beautifully and had some severe breaks.
