LPGA International - Jones Course

Happened to play on a very windy day. Even without wind course seemed long. Sand was predictable on most every hole. Course was in very good condition. I just wouldn’t return.

The tee times are too close together,making for a very long round.

Course was over booked. Large group playing scramble caused at least 1 hour delay. Finally switched from jones to hills course to get on asap. Reaching second hole we were being held up by a six sum. Phone calls to the club house, took another 8 holes where the ranger finally had the group split 4 & 2. Very poor management of the course policy and disregard for other players. Rangers need training and support from clubhouse management.

A 5 hour round after waiting a half hour to start. Not the way to run starting times and GPS kept shutting us down. Not much fun

It was my birthday and I was excited to finally play LPGA. My husband and I were placed behind a bachelor party of 12. After 9 holes, we drove past the group to the 16 hole where our golf cart died. Pro shop quickly sent a new cart out, but we decided to call it quits.

Beautiful course but very slow play and we had to start 20 minutes late. Therefore we played last two holes at dusk!

We waited 45 minutes past our tee time because there were no carts. Once we got one, it died on the first hole!

The course is fine. A few of the tee boxes need some help, but overall conditioning was good. Biggest problem here was the 50 minute delay to our start time due to a lack of carts. Not what you’d expect from a so called high end club. Staff were friendly. Corse is well worth playing when the sun is coming up, not going down!!

I had a good time playing the Jones Course. I was surprised; however, that most of the sand traps had no rakes to clean up after your shot. I guess I am not used to that. The few bunkers that did have rakes, the rakes themselves were pretty old and in bad shape. So, the bunkers were full of footprints, ect. Still, I was glad we played it, and we were paired up with a member. He was great, and helped us a lot with advice.

Our start was delayed 20 minutes and then we waited on each hole. At times, 2 foursomes waiting on the hole. We finished, but barely before dark. Other than pace of play, it was a nice experience. The back nine was beautiful.

This course needs to add more carts. Golfers waiting at bag drop for carts delaying tee times.

Great day to golf during the Daytona 500. Not crowded so pace was great, plus free air show from The Thunderbirds. Course in fine shape. Will be back soon.

From the moment I arrived this was an exceptional experience.

Tyler who was running the show up front was friendly and knowledgeable. The staff inside was eager to help, and the Marshal was hilarious, I was a single paired up with a couple from Michigan and they were a hoot. The conditions were excellent, not a bad lie on the course.

I recommend this 10/10 for anyone who is looking for an exceptional course at a nice value after 2;00pm. I started at 2:22, and my other two playing partners dropped off at the back 9, around 4:20, and then I played as a single until the 18th hole. I finished up just as the horn sounded.

I shot a 91, and had a great time doing it.

Play this course you won’t regret it.

Teed off at 1:37pm on a Wednesday. Waited for a cart for 45 minutes while cart guy gave carts coming in to members going to the range. Was late to my tee time from there by 25 minutes. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes, saw the ranger one time on #7 didn’t say a word about pace. Left at the turn and won’t come back.

Got to nag drop at least 20 people waiting for a cart, course was overbooked. Our cart broke down as had 6 or 7 others. Attenders we’re nice but also complained over overbooking. Course is good pace f play was over 4 hours.

Tee time was 1:37, got there at 1:15pm to check in and they were out of carts. Waited til 2pm to get a cart (45min). They’re busy, I get it.

Proceed to number 1, play it in good pace.

Get to number 2, and there are 3 groups on the tee (excluding myself). At least two groups on each tee the remaining holes. Passed a Marshall on #7 and all he says was “beautiful day to wait at least.”

Played the front 9 in a little over 3 hours and left. Will never come back, to either course.
