SLOW PLAY

Don’t play this course on the weekend

2 hrs in only 3 holes played and they threw in 3 foursomes of college players at the last min.

Ranger??

Staff is great, weather was perfect unfortunately we had to wait on Every hole. Please hire a ranger. The tee boxes need some TLC, they are beat up and very uneven.

Terrible Pace of Play

Jones - first round there; really slow!

Played as a single and got paired up with 3 great folks (Blake and Brittany work with LPGA). We started at 1:45 PM and due to very slow pace of play, finished #18 in the dark. Folks behind us were not so lucky. We waited on almost every shot on every hole for the group ahead of us, while they were also waiting similarly for groups ahead of them. We got messages on the GPS that our pace was slow and there would be a ranger, but we never saw one. Easy solution might be to space tee times out more than 7 minutes which is ridiculously tight. No other courses bunch folks that tight. The course might not lose revenue with fewer bunched up tee times, while they could plan for rounds shorter than 5 hours.

Pace of play extremely slow

I booked a 2:37 pm tee time and paid for 18 holes expecting to easily be done by sunset. I was mistaken as there were 2-3 groups on every hole when I got to the tee box. In about 4 hours I got through 14 or 15 holes before I had to pack it up early because it was too dark to finish.

Slow play

One hour after tee off I had only played 2 holes. Got to the 3 rd hole and there were two groups on the tee box. NEVER play this course on the weekend. They also squeezed in two foursomes of collegiate players right before I teed off

Best in area

Couse is in great shape. Fairways green with plenty of grass. Greens firm and somewhat fast. Putted true. Challenging but fair.Love to play here. A little pricey unless you can find a hotdeal on Golfnow.

Terrible

Three groups on every tea with no range and the golf cart was constantly pinging that we were behind pace so yet that place was a total disaster

Pace of play ruins it

Nice course layout and conditions but they pay no attention to pace of play. We had three 4-somes on 5 consecutive tees. You can stay loose or interested in the game when you’re waiting like that. I spoke to the starter at the turn and he did nothing but offer excuses.

Fun Day at LPGA Jones

Having played LPGA Hills course a couple days earlier, this course is a much more forgiving track. Wide fairways and less doglegs make it an enjoyable round where good ball striking will be rewarded with a solid score. Mounding separates many fairways but again, the landing zones are wide enough to be able to avoid them.

Was fortunate to be paired with some friendly golfers who, while each was solid, didn’t take the game too seriously. So we all had a fun day!

Pace of play issues

Course was in good shape overall, played behind a 6some entire 18 holes. Took almost 5 hours to play and starter didn’t seem bothered at all about group that was playing as 6. Finished 30 minutes behind pace, never played a busy course that allowed that many players to play together on a hole.

LPGA Jones

Pace of play was terrible. 4:55 round. Group ahead of us was hitting mulligans and parking carts in front of the green making it difficult to know when to hit tee shots. Kids walking across the course to fish standing in the middle of the 10 th home yelling back at us. No ranger around all day. Greens and fairways were average at best. Not worth the $125 price.

Great course

I have played Hills several times. Jones is nicer and easier. Greens were a bit slow, but still rolled pure.
