LPGA International - Jones Course

Fast greens.

Seen a deer and some other wildlife too.

90 bucks, pretty good deal.

I bought a hot deal and was very happy with the value of this course. I do not like residential courses and I did not feel bottlenecked at any time on this course. I do not play links style very often but was surprised at the challenge of this course. Practice facility is large with a practice green and separate chipping /sand trap, plus a long and wide grass(no mats) driving range with a reasonable fee / bucket. Pace of play was slow , over 5 hours but everyone was friendly enough at the tee boxes. They allowed many small groups to go out instead of lumping us into foursomes.

Pin positions were difficult like we were on the PGA Tour

Paid for range balls... drive across the street to the range they use a machine where you punch in code. There were no range balls in the machine. No one was around to help. Went to 1st tee and the starter couldn't find my name even though I booked it 3 days earlier, and they had it in the pro shop. Around hole #4 the sprinklers were stuck on in the middle of the fairway. My son hit a perfect drive down the middle and had to get soaked to get his ball that he couldn't even play because of the puddle from sprinklers. Pace was so slow that a guy behind us hit our car with a ball as my son was hitting. Took over 5 hours to play.

Course is in great shape; fairways roll well, greens are in great shape and tee boxes are full. Really enjoyable round and can’t wait to get back. Thanks for a great round!

Played in the afternoon on 3/26. Place was jammed and pace of play matched that. Course conditions were average. Have played here before when better and also worse. Not sure why but when we made the turn there was a new group ahead and behind us. They started sending people off the back which made things worse. Overall almost 5 hour round. Hopefully next time our experience will be better.

5 hour 20 minute round. Too slow. Good layout, turf good, sand traps bad.

Pace of play very slow. Five hours for our round. Fairways were friendly. Greens fast. Took a few holes to adjust. Most holes had sand traps protecting them. My only real complaint was the sand itself. Hard packed sand. Not fluffy or soft. Also very shallow depth of sand. They need to run over to Daytona Beach and grab a few truck loads of sand. Had an ok round considering the very windy conditions. Staff was friendly. Needed a ranger to speed up some groups.

Although there was a mini tournament before our 1:37 tee time of approximately 12 carts the pace was amazingly good. Finished 18 in 4:45 hours!! Jones course couldn’t be any better although the winds were brutal!!

Congratulations LPGA for keeping course in such prestige condition. I have played this course around 10 times and it NEVER disappoints!!

Played LPGA many times. The course was in very good shape but I’ve seen it better. But compared to other courses around here it was phenomenal considering some of the cold snaps we’ve had recently. The price is a little high but compared to the prices of some of the goat tracks around here I’d say it was fair!

I played there before, the last time I played the course was in really good shape. This time it just didn’t seem to be in as good as shape as what I thought it would be!

So that about is as critical, I can get other than that. It’s a beautiful layout and the service was excellent.

I used to play there a lot, but I have to say this time not as good as I played it. I know it’s the season and it’s a lot of play. I work at a golf course. I own a driving range and I’ve never seen a place with the prestige that it has with it with unranked sound of it.

I love the course. I love the atmosphere there. I just wish that they spend a little bit more time making it a little bit more playable for the people that come in there.
