Hidden Hills Golf Course

Everything as usual was great, staff friendliness could use an upgrade, but I’ll be back.

I’ve always liked HH’s layout, but unfortunately the course conditions have continued to deteriorate over the past several years such that it is no longer enjoyable. Course maintenance is lacking; some TLC is much required.

Tee area is starting to appear bare and not very good for teeing off on quite a few holes

My long time playing partner and I had another great day at Hidden Hills yesterday. But what topped everything off, and made our day even better was Tony was not working. Dude needs to cheer up, smile, and treat non-members and members the same.

The course layout is great, but the conditions are poor. The green were bare in spots and the fairway is in average condition at the least. I would not pay more than 35$ to play it right now, if conditions improve I would pay 65-70$.

The fairways lacked grass. The green had weeds growing on them .Good layout but maybe they can improve on the playing conditions.

worse shape I've seen the greens and tee boxes. Still a fun course though.

Not as good as it was a few years ago. Great course layout but tee boxes are horrible, greens have weeds. Nice golf carts and speed of play is good because nobody plays there anymore.

bit slow, course is better than it has been in past years. Beers only $5 for a tall boy. Some greens need work, as do some tee boxes.

Love playing this course when we visit our son here in Jacksonville from the South Bruce Peninsula in Ontario Canada. Starter was great, gentleman in the Pro Shop not so much. Will definitely be back!

Nice clubhouse with much better lunch service & food quality than you find at most area courses. The Pro Shop staff & Head Pro were very courteous and engaging. Unfortunately, the condition of the greens, tee boxes and fairways on the front nine were far below what you find at most area courses. The back nine greens were much better and so was everything else on the back nine. I put together 5 rounds for 8 players during TPC Week '24 and I took a big hit from our entire group for the Hidden Hills round. I had played HH in early 2019 and it was in so much better condition. I do not like giving negative reviews to courses when I know those good people are doing their best. However, it was obvious they have been constrained by a lack of financial support needed to keep this wonderful layout in acceptable condition. We will not return next year unless I go down and personally scout it out. Sorry, Hidden Hills, but you have been & could be again, so much better.

A beautiful afternoon at Hidden Hills. I love the challenge of the layout. Fairways are in good shape. Some greens are getting weeds and are bumpy to putt. Some tee boxes are also getting rough. Work is in progress to fix these turf issues but it needs to continue. I'll be back soon.

Noticeable difference from last year. Course was in good condition. Greens were a little inconsistent and a little hard. Overall is was an enjoyable round on one of the few “hilly” courses in N Florida.

Not sure yet about it. From Amelua to drive there, there are other courses

Hidden Hills was a good overall experience for my friend and I (minus the water). Staff was extremely friendly. Clubhouse was nice and clean, bar and grill had good food and excellent staff as well.

We're beginners, so the course was pretty difficult for us with all the water, but we still had fun.

The only downfall we felt was it was a pretty busy day and there were a lot of people behind us which made us feel rushed.

I would go back and recommend to a friend.

This course was in deplorable condition. It should be in great shape due to the weather. I can’t imagine what it will be like in the heat of the summer . We played St. John CC, , Queen Harbor and Bent Creek. What a pleasure!!!

Hidden Hills is definitely a waste of money!!
