Tucked away in the beautiful Ft. Caroline area near Jacksonville, Hidden Hills Country Club stands on a historic battleground that witnessed the fierce struggles between France and Spain and continued into golf history with searing competition during the heyday of the Greater Jacksonville Open.
The 6,892-yard private golf course, built in 1966 on an ancient sand dune, was redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 1986. Palmer's creativity helped create a championship-caliber golf course unmatched in natural beauty that makes excellent use of rare hilly terrain to create a unique Florida golf challenge. The fairways are lined with majestic pines and stately oaks, and the unpredictable greens have helped Hidden Hills gain the reputation of being one of the most challenging courses in North Florida.
Sharp doglegs, strategic placement of water hazards and putting surfaces that are mostly elevated serve up a mighty test for the low handicapper. Approaches are narrow and many of Hidden Hills Country Club's greens are well bunkered.

Solid course
We do enjoy Hidden Hills when the pace of play is quick as it was today. Greens were a little brown and rough in places but good course which we frequent monthly

The course was fun to play, every kind of shot and lie, some spots were in need of tlc, but overall, well worth playing. The staff was great

Pace of Play
HH has come a long way in the past 6 to 9 months. The greens are in good shape and rolling nicely. The fairways especially have come around in a major way. However, the pace of play is in question. I think it should be mentioned in the club house to maintain a decent pace. I am surely no scratch but I'm aware if I'm being pushed because I might be slow.

Challenging golf course.
HH is a challenging course that is well maintained and it has a friendly staff. The golf carts are very comfortable. Course management is paramount at Hidden Hills.

Very nice
Really enjoyed playing at this course, very nice layout , easy playing , and for whatever reason , my wife and I played the entire 18 holes without anyone else to be seen!
Great experience
Great value for money!
This course is well worth a visit for the price point. Excellent value for money. The first 12 holes have a lot of water that is in play, so it can lead to a few lost balls. As a result pace of play can be a little slow and there are no rangers on the course to help faster groups play through.
That being said, the layout is great, condition is good and the greens are in good condition. I would definitely play again.

Greens were in very good condition, and good pace to them. Course conditions were good.
Hidden gem must play
Overall id definitely play again,1 guy in pro shop was a jerk with attitude but the starter i thimk reece was an absolute asset to this course,top notch guy.They do need a ranger though,not much to complain about the course,greens are very tricky and undulating. Id definitely love to play this one again next time im n town.

Good golf at HH. Course is in great shape. Wish the restaurant stayed opened past 3:00. Cart girl was also great.
