Crooked Cat at Orange County National

We played this course twice during our recent trip to Orlando. The staff is friendly and actively work to keep up the pace of play. Course is in great shape and the restaurant has a great selection of foods and drinks. I highly recommend.

Awesome course , 65 dollars for this course was a steal

The whole experience was positive. Checkin was smooth, practice facilities were great, course was in top condition. We played 18 on Crooked Cat, had a delicious lunch in the bar and then walked 9 at The Tooth course. Overall a fantastic day of golf!

Fairways/rough were great.

Greens par to subpar. Plenty of unfixed ball marks. There was a mix of another grass in the green. Looked splotchy. Balls would hop and skip on puts

Could hear Staff near by with walkie talkies, could hear other staff on the radio talking poorly about patrons who were on the course.

Fantastic complex with 2 great courses, friendly staff and great facilities

OCN is always in great condition when down from NY ! Prices have gone up some but still only plausible due to the great conditions !

If you’re within an hour of this course, go play it! The facilities are excellent, including the practice range and the pro shop. This place is a must-play in Florida.

Played Crooked Cat and it was what I expected. Course was in spring condition. They had sanded the greens that morning so they were slow and not much undulation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was an enjoyable day.

Awesome course, great conditions, pass was great until the last 5 holes

The greens were very bumpy because they have three types of grass on them. If you have that, at-least cut them all down to the same height so your putt has a chance to go in the hole. Our group also decided to “roll them” in the fairways because there were so many clumps of grass. Disappointed to pay over $150 and have conditions like this.

Nice course and facility, but not worth the money they are charging.

Crooked Cat itself was a fun track. The positive comments from me end about there. I left a rangefinder magnetically attached to the frame of the cart, and forgot to grab it when I departed the course around 6:20 pm. I called around 7:15 once I had realized I didn’t have it, and was directed to the central call center, which was extremely un-helpful. They couldn’t direct me to anyone. This would become a theme.

I had to call the next morning, and still no help. I talked with someone at the entire resort, but still nobody in the pro shop. After playing telephone with people who couldn’t help me all day, I decided to drive in and check the lost in found. Here, I went to the pro shop, and was “Greeted” by Nick. When I told Nick of my whole situation, the brand, color, time I played, etc, I asked if we can look at the lost and found. About as smug as possible, he told me flat out no. Claimed that he’s seen this before, and he won’t let me take a look. I was baffled, he said I can check with cart staff, so I left the pro shop to go check. Cart staff also claimed to not have it, even though I told them exactly where it definitely was and at what times.

So, I went to the pro shop hoping for a little help, and was treated very poorly and even labeled as coming in trying to steal a rangefinder. Given how quickly I acted, I have a hard time believing it doesn’t belong to a staff member currently. Their behavior in my time here backs that up as well. If

you go here, good luck dealing with Nick, and do not misplace anything of value.
