Good Value
Would play here again. Good value and a fair course though not very challenging from the tips. Small elevated greens, but they are easy to hold and on the slow side. Staff is great and very friendly. Unfortunately there is no range and not much of a practice area to warm up. That said for $20 it is worth it.
Nice course
Enjoyed it, elevated greens somewhat challenging. Course in good conditions.
Phenomenal Fairways
The fairways are a perfect lie every time. Greens were perfect, tee boxed well maintained. Awesome bar/pub at the turn and pro shop called Mulligan's to watch some sports if on tv.
Great Day At Pebble
Perfect weather. The staff goes the extra mile to make you feel at home and that you will enjoy your round. No need to bump or roll the ball in the fairways ,,, very well manicured. The somewhat elevated greens gives you a bit of a different perspective on your approach shots.
Stop in at Mulligans Pub before or after your round for some great bar food or entrees. Especially the Tuesday half price apps and the Wednesday $ 5.00 burger. Families certainly welcome.
Row row row your boat
They told me cart path only. They didn't say the entire fairway was under water. My drive plugged, and I hit a line drive. The course should not have been open. I played one hole and went back to ask for a refund. The gave me a....wait for it... rain check. Ugh
Wanted a refund
The course should have been closed that day. I booked a round several days prior to me arriving there. Apparently it had rained for maybe 2 or 3 days straight before I got there. The day I arrived the weather was nice, now rain. So the following morning I arrived to play and 65% of the fairways were under water and pretty much unplayable. After about 8 holes I gave up. Got tired of splashing myself with water after a tee shot right down the middle.
Great Florida golf.
This place is always a good bet. We Play here 4 or 6 times a year.
Nothing bad to say about the course. It's always good enough.
Great people. Great layout.
Good Standard Course
Overall, this was a good all around course with plenty of doglegs to keep you guessing. It was in decent shape considering the amount of rain we have had lately and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the cart guy. Definitely recommend for a nice Saturday or Sunday evening.
Terrible value for the money
It had been 5 days without rain and the course was still full of water. Greens were ridiculously slow. It was almost like putting on the fairway. Bunkers were so bad the plastic liner that's supposed to be well beneath de sand would interfere with your shot and there were weeds growing in each and every bunker
Too Much Rain
Course condition was bad due to saturation of rain. Cart path only. Most balls plugged into fairway. No fault of the course. Played many times before. A challenging course. Better luck next time.
I golf this course once a month
I recently moved to the Tampa are back in the fall of 2016, I have played Pebble Creek about once a month. The course layout is really nice. The pace of play was great. My only concern is the course conditions keep getting worse. I played on a Friday and the greens were as thick as tee boxes, it made it impossible to putt on. The tee boxes need some work. I'll be back and I'd definitely recommend it to friends. To be completely honest with you, travel the extra couple miles and play Heritage Isles. That course is gorgeous. Very well maintained.
Excelent course.
Good prices during weekends and good prices for the apparel.
weather
We played 9 holes with no problem than it started getting cloudy and the rain. we stopped but golf now gave us credit for 9 holes.
Say what
Nice staff. Overall I would recommend this to my golf buddies. Considering we have had no rain I feel that it's in ok shape
Bring your golf balls that go straight
Good grief! I had forgotten all the trouble! I had played here in the past. I got paired with two lesser experienced golfers. Watching them play and getting into all sorts of trouble and while fishing my own ball out of lakes and ponds, I realized how punitive this course can be when the ball goes offline. Then you need to attack elevated greens. Currently course needs rain as a few of the fairways have been baked. Wet season starts in a week or two.
Pebble Creek
Old course with big trees and a lot of water when not in dry season. Small greens, but playable. Good value.
