Poor Shape
Was in pretty bad shape. Most alarming though, especially during this virus cleanliness period, the bathrooms on the course were terrible & laughable. Had no soap or paper towels; looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while.
Father and son bonding
I took my son out for his first round of golf. He loved it and beat me by three strokes. I hope that we can play together for many years.
Will come back
Some of the greens have repair spots but overall in great shape, rolled quick and very receptive from fairway shots and chips with some bite , Blue tee boxes are trash
First time at Pebble Creek
I was very pleased with my experience at Pebble Creek. Mike in the pro shop was very helpful and
gave me some valuable pointers regarding the course.. The course itself was in good shape especially given the lack of rain. I will definitely comeback!!
Not a fun course
Course condition was bad. The tea boxes are some of the worst I’ve ever seen almost no grass at all on the majority of them. If you can manage to keep your ball in the fairway and very close to the green if not on it in regulation you’ll probably enjoy this course for the most part. But outside of the fairways The condition is very bad. Lots of hard pan with very little grass and difficult to get up and down. On one par five I hit my second shot almost down the middle and was in sand and hard pan for my third shot. Nothing is marked off for a free drop so you assume to play it where it lies. Not a bad place, just the condition makes it unenjoyable to play.
Good round but sandy!
First time playing Pebble Creek! Very much enjoyed this course but the fairways and a couple tee boxes were quite sandy. It looks they are doing some improvements to them but the course still played well but very firm.
Great Course with Friendly Staff
Have played here many times and always return because of the upkeep and fairness of the course and the friendly and welcoming attitude of the staff. Despite a few tee boxes needing to be fixed or moved, the fairways and greens are in very good condition.
Good course, annoying staff (some of them).
I love this course and play it often. Lately, I've been getting pretty irritated with some of the staff. People in the pro shop are great and the cart girl is the best but the grounds crew and rangers are constantly in the way. During the front 9 yesterday, I had to wait for someone raking the greens on at least 8 of them. Several times he drove by me and cut right in front of me while I was swinging. This has been an issue with various grounds keeping work the past few times I've played here. I appreciate them keeping the course in shape but not while ruining my round. The ranger was slowly driving along the OB area and ponds on almost every hole, looking for lost balls, presumably for his own use. Both of them were just terrible distractions the entire round. With the way the prices have been increasing here, I should not have to deal with these sorts of things.
Once a decade golfer
I played in the early afternoon for a great deal. I was a solo but picked up two other golfers by the end of the round. The course was in good shape and the greens were very fast. I saw some beautiful wildlife and had a great time. After golf I had a great meal at Mulligan’s. Great food and service.
Worst conditions in Tampa
Sand for tee boxes, burnt out greens, cow pasture. Only reason for a 2 star is because the gentlemen in the pro shop was nice. Take your money elsewhere before you break your clubs on the hard “grass”.
Golf etiquette
I've played at this course a bunch of times but when it comes to some people that play there and do not know golf etiquette is what bothers me. There is one golfer there in particular that the past 2 times I've played there does not know the meaning of waiting. The first time he was right behind me and hitting the ball before I left the middle of the fairway and was on me the whole time. Yesterday he was behind me and we asked if I could play through a foursome they said yes. We come to I think the 15th and somehow that same rude guy cut in front of me without asking. I mean we didn't even see him pass us.
Good, Fast Round
Course crowded, but played in under 3.5 hours. Course in pretty good shape despite near drought conditions.
Dried out fairways
The greens were in really bad shape, and the fairways were hard as a rock. Tee box area was also in bad shape some them were like teeing the ball up in sand because there was no grass. All in all nice layout staff was really friendly.
Good Course and Great Price
To start off, The staff was very friendly! The fee is very reasonable.
The course is nice, but I’m not a fan of the tee holder in the cup. When yo put the metal holder for the flag sticks up, so the ball will pop out. Other than that, it’s a great course!
Thank you Pebble Creek for staying open during the Covid-19 situation. Helping me keep my sanity!! Haha!
Close This Place
If people in Pebble Creek need a place to kick dirt around in the sun , then they should go to a local park where it’s free .
This place is the section 8 of Central Florida golf
Good layout
I have always enjoyed playing this coarse and have played it many times. I love the layout but with the dry weather this year the fairways are thin and bare in spots, the greens are in fair shape and putted well, I don't know why they have the cups to where you can't really pull the pins when putting. I know you can leave the pin in the hole when putting but if you pull them the way they put the cup in the hole the ball may bounce out because the cups are so shallow but I still like the coarse.
