Hidden Valley Golf Club
About
The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful course
Beautiful course with great layout.
They were short on carts, so we had to wait a while to start. Pace of play was slow. We played through 14 holes after 4 hours, and had to quit because it was too dark.
I would like to play this course again maybe earlier in a day.
Where's the marshal
Never saw one marshal on a Saturday from 930 to 230. You would think for almost $100/round a course would be able to staff one to keep the round from taking 5 to 5.5 hours. Also the course could use rough. Good shots that trickle into revenes is BS.
Close to being great
One of my favorite tracks in SoCal. Price is great, layout is fun and greens are normally pretty good.
Please get a starter near the tee box!!!! There were 6 carts lined up and they had 1230 or later tee times and we had a 12pm, acting they were going to go. Then a 2 some snuck in front of 3 foursomes.
Course gets a lot of play and they need a marshal as well. Multiple times the group in front of us was waiting for greens to clear when they took 3 each to get off the tee.
no cart lady or marshall
pace of play was too slow and there was no marshall. Cart lady was nowhere to be found
Good round
I really like hidden valley. Great and fun layout course. It’s usually in very good shape. This week had a fivesome in front which kinda suck. Spoke to starter and he said it was a three and a two. Which was BS cause they all tee off at the same time and had to wait on some holes especially the par threes. Also, some of the holes the pin was less than three paces from the rough which made a hard course even more challenging.
Hidden valley
Like always the course was in fantastic shape and the tee boxes are all growing in well. Greens are rolling really fast. Staff is always friendly and fair and accommodating.
Great course
Really enjoyed this course as it forced one to play thinking golf. Got paired with beginners so went off the whites, any lower handicap player cap player will score low scores here as it is short.
Greens fun, fairways temping you to go big into hazards waiting for you below.
Great day out.
Worth it
First impressions upon check in, meh...
Why have a guy working the front counter to check you in and his attitude was like he didn't want to be there. Jeez, put him in the back or better yet, give him a rake and go rake the bunkers, they need it.
Grass range was decent, the uphill grade was different, but a nice warm up facility.
Course layout was nice, some really nice holes, a lot elevation changes, interesting...
Greens held nicely, rolled pretty quick depending on what side of the undulations you were on.
Where was the Marshall ?!? POP was SLOW...4 some ahead terribly slow, didn't even let a 2 some play through, dudes were waiting every hole. Come on man learn some etiquette, plus they were @ 3 holes behind, unbelievable...
Oh well...the restaurant was very efficient, quick bite at the turn was impressive. Great service, better attitude.
Thank you...
Overall, worth the trip, will return. Hoping not to get behind some slow pokes...
Sandy Greens
Hidden Valley is a great course with all types of golf holes. Long and short par 3s, 4s and 5s. Elevated tee boxes and uphill tee shots required. Really fun overall. Pace of play was great for a Wednesday even though the group in front of us got their cart stuck in a bunker on hole one. The only thing that was tough was that all the greens had sand on them after being aerated but we weren't notified. Approach shots and putting were a complete kaleidoscope. Every course has to do it, totally understand, and it won't keep me from coming back but was tough when you don't know until you get to the practice green.
Excellent with a capital E
From beginning to end always a great experience at hidden valley. Check in was very professional and highly informative.
Course is well maintained and challenging.
Premium is placed on short game skills and putting.
Excellent experience.
