Arthur Hills designed the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club to deliver a fun round that's tough to forget. Trees tower, landforms show subtly, and bunkers improve your golf skills. The par-72 golf course measures 6,903 yards, and has gained its renown by offering a design that requires strategy.
A round of golf on the Padre Course at the Camelback Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 446 yards from the black tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a par 5 that comes in at 553 yards from the black tees, one of four 500-plus-yard holes. The 18th hole is one of these: It's 547 yards from the black tee to the post-round celebration.
After your round on the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club, head to the Golf Grill, serving U.S. cuisine and a fancy Sunday brunch in the style of Southwestern country clubs. There's also a luxury lounge where you can spend winters on the patio by the fireplace.

Conditions were spotty. Great Service though
Course condition was not good, even at the discounted rate. Staff and service was excellent but was disappointed by the course condition. There are similarly priced courses in better Summer shape currently.
Fun and challenging course. Wide open off the tee, elevated greens, be accurate on approach. Says greens were punched but only a couple rough ones. Will play again!
Padre
I have played ambiente, which was amazing. And padre was just the same! They say the greens just got done being punch, but you wouldn’t tell when you putt. Very true rolls for July golf. Green grass to hit from pretty much everywhere. Now that both are back open I can see pace of play getting better. Took me only 2 hours to get done as a single, but there was a lot of body’s out there. I paid like $37 with the hot deal, normally a little more expensive, but actually worth it compared to other courses in the valley. Waters on cooler and gps on carts.
Great Day on Padre
We played on the first day the course opened back up after aeration. It was in really good shape for mid summer. Greens were a bit slow but ran smooth and true. We got around in less than 4 hours, which was great to say the least on such hot day. Staff was great! It was a great day.
Late June Golf
The course is in pretty good shape for this time of year. Surprisingly good greens and actual sand in the trap. Really enjoy the shade on this course when it's 108.
