Camelback Golf Club - Padre Course

First time playing this course and it didn’t disappoint. We were worried that the overnight rain would make it unplayable but it really wasn’t that bad. The course sent an email early in the morning alerting us of the cart path only rule which was a nice heads up. From tee box to green, conditions were primo considering we are still in summer mode here in AZ. The rains have definitely helped enhance summer conditions. All staff from the clubhouse to the first tee to the beverage cart to the cart barn we’re friendly. Will definitely add this track to our rotation!

Course was in great condition for summer time in the desert, greens were great, fairways great and green, tee boxes the same! Only issue pace of play was terrible, I mean round only took 4 hrs 30 min but waited on every hole, the guy I played with bounced after 11 cause if it, but couldn’t beat the course will play again!

I have played this course multiple times and always enjoyed it! The staff is really friendly and helpful. The range and other facilities are great. The holes are challenging but fun. I enjoy playing the 9th and 18 holes, both of which, are par 5's and end right next to water The rangers are very friendly and helpful also.

Excellant course in great condition! Staff is very friendly and able to help out with anything needed. One thing I disliked was the replay rate was almost the same price as the full round we paid for. Other than that no complaints and is GREAT condition.

Course was recently aerated but greens had filled in nicely and were puttable. Fairways were well maintained for a few summer dry spots as expected in AZ. Course is well watered so morning time will be wet, Overall group had great time on course.

The course was in good shape.! Greens were smooth and true. Padre doesn’t get enough credit being the little brother of Ambiente. But it’s a great and fun course.

Fun layout with views of Camelback from many holes. Greens rolling fast and fairways in good shape for late June. Staff always friendly.

Was planning on breakfast before the round but found it closed. Would have planned other option to eat had we known

Very fun and well conditioned course with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Padre is a parkland style course with just enough blind targets and approaches to keep you guessing. As a result, a few rounds around this course are usually necessary to get the trick zones. The course is generally in very good condition. On this round, I did notice a few patches that were under 'repair'. On this round, the greens were fast and harboring difficult pin placements.
