Arthur Hills designed the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club to deliver a fun round that's tough to forget. Trees tower, landforms show subtly, and bunkers improve your golf skills. The par-72 golf course measures 6,903 yards, and has gained its renown by offering a design that requires strategy.
A round of golf on the Padre Course at the Camelback Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 446 yards from the black tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a par 5 that comes in at 553 yards from the black tees, one of four 500-plus-yard holes. The 18th hole is one of these: It's 547 yards from the black tee to the post-round celebration.
After your round on the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club, head to the Golf Grill, serving U.S. cuisine and a fancy Sunday brunch in the style of Southwestern country clubs. There's also a luxury lounge where you can spend winters on the patio by the fireplace.

Outstanding Course
This was my first time playing Padre having played the more difficult Ambiente. Padre was more forgiving and a great layout. Lots of bunkers and I think I was in all of them. Condition was pristine tee to green. Staff was awesome.
Great Shape
The best greens I've seen in a very long time. Excellent. Course overall was in excellent condition.
Fun Course!
This course had a different layout but was a lot of fun to play! Greens were in great shape and very fast. Hit the green on a few approach shots and the ball would roll off the back so will definitely keep that in mind next time I play it and I will be playing it again. Beautiful area!
Gorgeous facilities with a course to match
The Padre course is a fairly challenging track, but everyone I played with said the Ambiente course is the one to play. You won’t be disappointed with the course conditions or pace of play here. This is a golfer’s course.
Pricey!!!! Even for Arizona.
$179 for an average course with kind of ratty fairways.
Got paired with a couple of donks.
We were paired with an older gentleman and his wife. Unlucky draw. She whiffed it at least 150 times and played it out, only picking up a couple times. When she did make contact it only went 50 yds. He was trying to give her lessons all day. It was exacerbating. Everybody is a beginner at some time but she had no business there.
