Arthur Hills designed the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club to deliver a fun round that's tough to forget. Trees tower, landforms show subtly, and bunkers improve your golf skills. The par-72 golf course measures 6,903 yards, and has gained its renown by offering a design that requires strategy.
A round of golf on the Padre Course at the Camelback Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 446 yards from the black tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a par 5 that comes in at 553 yards from the black tees, one of four 500-plus-yard holes. The 18th hole is one of these: It's 547 yards from the black tee to the post-round celebration.
After your round on the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club, head to the Golf Grill, serving U.S. cuisine and a fancy Sunday brunch in the style of Southwestern country clubs. There's also a luxury lounge where you can spend winters on the patio by the fireplace.

Great track!
I played the Padre course for the first time. It’s a great track! I had played the Ambiente course twice before, and now prefer the Padre course. Both courses are fun, and very different. Staff are great!
Why you come to Az for golf
This is a top notch facility with beautiful vistas often containing the majestic Camelback Mountain. If you want to experience Arizona golf with the challenge of sandtraps, water and natural desert landscape, this Padre course is a must play. Not to mention the pregame driving range and short game areas to warm you up at no extra charge. I travelled from Canada to play here and was not disappointed.
Nice course
Nice course with good conditions . Maintenance was just done so had to keep carts on cart path but otherwise good experience
Great course! Staff was friendly, welcoming & went out of their way to ensure we had a positive experience. Round went smoothly & we had a great time! Challenging course but fun & in great condition. Nice pro shop as well, good selection & reasonably priced. Clean carts and rest rooms also & that's important to me. Highly recommend this course.
Great, fast course
Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Course was in great shape and we were able to play 18 holes in a little more than 3 hours. Frequent visits from drink cart, great food at clubhouse after - very great experience!
