Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

Loved the layout, nice views and quite challenging. But disappointed in the greens, which were quite spotty and bumpy, not up to the level that they should be at for this time of year and for the quality of the course. Hopefully this is just a temporary problem.

This is not a gimme golf course. It's a good test, on a great layout, on a well cared for track. The golfers could do a little better job of repairing pitch marks. The staff is that perfect blend of friendly and professional. Both courses at Verrado have become among my favorite places to play.

I guess I was expecting more for 80.00, I like this course but it wasnt up to the standards I was use to before. Greens were just okay nothing special.

Took me awhile to try the Verrado courses because it's an hour drive. But over the past year I've played both courses (Founders and Victory) many times. I just really like how these courses run. Very smooth with that perfect combination of friendly but professional. Greens were a little slow for my taste, but track was in great condition. I will definately be back!

We were quite disappointed in the roll and play of the greens. The grass was dead in some areas or the ball would jump around and turn sharply near the hole like the greens keeper didn’t tamp down the hole.

Awesome course. Cart path only the day we played but still a great round. Staff is extremely friendly

Only issue I had was what starter did ?

We were last to go out and just a twosome,the foursome ahead of us there was two that said one was a beginner and didn’t want to play with anyone. So the starter put the other twosome with us .

Which we have no problem with , it is a four player game . But that couple got to play 1 or 2 less holes by moving back . What should have happened is that couple that didn’t want to play with anyone should have been moved back and we go ahead playing with other couple.

Loved the course ,just a note that might help them teach starters.

Played the Founders course for the second time this past weekend and it was a treat! The layout of the course is excellent. The conditions were great as well! The greens were very fast and rolled true. Everyone we interacted with at the course were great!

Our foursome played exactly a 4 hour round on a Saturday morning. Ranger hounded us 4 times during the round and several times in the middle of the hole complaining we were on pace for a 4.5 hour round. Our foursome included a new female golfer who played exceptionally well including a birdie on her second ever round of golf. Ranger was absolutely out of line and his actions were shameful to the course and the sport. Course was in excellent condition.
