Located in the West Valley, Sundance Golf Club offers scenic views of the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains to the south. Designed by Greg Nash, the golf course is unique in that it flawlessly blends lush green landscaping with Sonoran Desert washes and arroyos. The rolling terrain of this target-style course creates elevation changes that can affect play. Sundance Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 sixth hole, which requires a precise shot over Sundance Lake to an undulating green that is sloped toward the lake. There are four sets of tee boxes on the golf course for many different options, but the Sundance Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping area, and putting green.

Saturday Play

Fairways and greens were in very good condition, the only issue was they were not allowing carts in fairways which increased the length of play because you had to carry several clubs out to your ball. Otherwise course and staff were great.

Sundance golf course - what a great value in Buckeye

We played Sundance for the first time today. This is a tough course, you have to stay down the middle to be safe. The course was in good shape despite being reopened after the overseers. The cart path only made it a long walk, but we finished in 4 hours, with some waiting for the group in front.
The pro shop was not friendly or inviting at all.

Accuracy is key!

This was our first time on this course
We really enjoyed it. A couple of holes are blind shots, short and challenging. Very recently overdressed, but greens rolled smooth. Staff was very busy, yet helpful. Wind came up in the afternoon, and made it even more interesting. 4 hours for 18, a little busy/slow

Not for hackers

Beautiful golf course but it was cart path only on the day I played. If I had known that I would not have played there. If you have any kind of physical limitations like I do, you won't last 9 holes. If you don't hit the ball straight you are screwed because all the fairways have stone washes instead of grass rough. I will try it again when they take away the cart path restrictions.

Slow play.

There was a family of 5 in front of us. It slowed things down. They let us go around them after 9 holes. Things got better.

Fun Course. Great Value.

The course is fun. 1st round after overseed, so the greens were lush but slow, and that’s OK since it held irons really well. The staff was nice but had a hard time coordinating tee times. They’re remodeling and seem a little disorganized. Other than that, and some slow play/late tee times, I definitely recommend the course.
