Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

I've played at this course dozens of times, Its normally a solid 4 or 4+ course. This time many of the t boxes were in rough shape and nearly all of the greens were full of unrepaired ball marks. Otherwise, the layout and staff are solid. Time for some maintenance effort.

Greens were not in great shape compared to the rest of the course.

13th green is a little to severe. I know it is a short hole and needs some defense but that is a little crazy.

Course in good shape overall. Fairways plush, traps perfect. Greens slightly slow, but putted well and smooth. Anyone would enjoy playing this course. Staff could not have been friendlier.

Loved the layout, nice views and quite challenging. But disappointed in the greens, which were quite spotty and bumpy, not up to the level that they should be at for this time of year and for the quality of the course. Hopefully this is just a temporary problem.

This is not a gimme golf course. It's a good test, on a great layout, on a well cared for track. The golfers could do a little better job of repairing pitch marks. The staff is that perfect blend of friendly and professional. Both courses at Verrado have become among my favorite places to play.

I guess I was expecting more for 80.00, I like this course but it wasnt up to the standards I was use to before. Greens were just okay nothing special.

Took me awhile to try the Verrado courses because it's an hour drive. But over the past year I've played both courses (Founders and Victory) many times. I just really like how these courses run. Very smooth with that perfect combination of friendly but professional. Greens were a little slow for my taste, but track was in great condition. I will definately be back!

We were quite disappointed in the roll and play of the greens. The grass was dead in some areas or the ball would jump around and turn sharply near the hole like the greens keeper didn’t tamp down the hole.

Awesome course. Cart path only the day we played but still a great round. Staff is extremely friendly

Only issue I had was what starter did ?

We were last to go out and just a twosome,the foursome ahead of us there was two that said one was a beginner and didn’t want to play with anyone. So the starter put the other twosome with us .

Which we have no problem with , it is a four player game . But that couple got to play 1 or 2 less holes by moving back . What should have happened is that couple that didn’t want to play with anyone should have been moved back and we go ahead playing with other couple.

Loved the course ,just a note that might help them teach starters.
