Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

This is my third time playing Verrado founders course in 30 days. It is now my favorite course in the Valley of Phoenix. Every hole is very unique, challenging, but golfer friendly. The views are breathtaking? The fairways are cut nice and it’s like hitting on carpet. And the greens are always consistent. And you can’t beat the green fees on golf now.

Verrado is the Best Course in the western part of the Valley.

We called the pro shop for player assistance, no Marshall came to assist us. When group went in front of us, between us and the group in front of us and our party. This was unexcusable. The cart person took our bag of the cart while we were trying to put things away, and make sure we didn't forget our belongings. I thought this was very rude. The bartender was very polite and respectful.

The course was in solid condition, staff, both inside and out were friendly, will definitely be back again.

This course has excellent views and a challenging fun layout. Fairways are pretty wide, greens are large but areas around the green tend to be narrow. Okay to be a little inconsistent off the tee box, but some accuracy needed on approach shots. Loved this course, it was in really good shape. (15 handicap)

Verrado Founders is one of the best golf course in PHX metro area. During winter they really maintain the course and keeping fairways and greens in excellent condition. The course layout is challenging and greens very fast. There are number of holes with scenic view of Phoenix. The practice facility is one of the best with huge driving range, putting green and short game area. This course is way out of the city on west side. The on site restaurant offers variety of drinks and food. Staff was very friendly and welcoming guests. I would definitely recommend anyone to play this course.

Awesome course. Played white/silver combo. Just right for this 67 year old low handicap golfer.

This course is in fantastic shape! Lush dark green tee boxes and fairways. The greens were smooth and fast and putted true. Wow.

The practice area and the range were in great shape. The carts were clean and ran well. The ball washer/club cleaner on the cart had fresh water in it. Very handy.

I noticed that they have cleared out a lot of the dead brush between the tee boxes and fairways. This really cleans the place up aesthetically. It makes the course look more open. It doesn't make the course any easier, however.

We had a great time. Met some nice people. Pace of play was 3hrs 40 minutes. This was a perfect day of golf on a great course.

As an avid golfer that is not rich, I'm always looking for the best course conditions for the cheapest price. Verrado came very close to perfect. If everyone could repair their ball mark and one other I would venture to say that even the pros would enjoy Verrado's greens. Great job superintendent.!!!!!

Verrado is not worth the effort to get there. The day started with the balls running out at the range and were not replenished. The practice green was full of ball marks from golfers chipping on to it. No rangers on the course turned into waiting at every tee box. The course layout is beautiful and interesting yet in such contrast to the condition of the course which was more like an over used municipal course. Simply disappointing.

The course was great. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Lots of picturesque views from some of the tee boxes. Pace of play was quick. Our foursome was finished in just over 4 hours. Overall I would recommend this course.

The setting is great, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the course was the best one that we played this week! We have already booked another tee time!

Beautiful golf course. We make a point of playing here every time we are in the area, unfortunately it seems like people feel they have to take 4.5 hours to play a round of golf or they're not happy. We waited on every shot from the 7th hole on. Having said that I still highly recommend this course.

Played white tees. Very challenging but fair course. Cannot wait to golf it again!

A great course to play on the West side of Phoenix, with good conditions, a nice layout with some pretty holes, especially on the back 9, and good service all around.

Due to recent overseeding, course was cart-path only and greens were a bit slow, but otherwise the conditions were great.
