Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

Great course, I always enjoy playing this course, started out on back nine because of tournament. Views on back nine fantastic. Greens and fairways excellent. Staff assistance good. Highly recommend this course. 2/8/2018

Very nice facility great layout. A little slow when a group had a cart issue and backed things up a bit Loved the rock bridge and waterfall for a photo op

My friends and family and I try to play Verrado as often as when can while we are in town for the Winter. We are never disappointed in the course, the service or the Grille afterwards!

The Course was set in the hills of Buckeye and wrapped around beautiful homes and hills. Great place to play.

Made the hour long trek from phoenix to play out here and glad that I did. Lots of nice views here and course was in great shape. Would make the drive again to try out the Victory course next time.

I have loved this course since I played it the first week it was open. Fun layout with unique holes, great views and friendly staff. Will play it whenever I'm in the area and I can get a deal I can afford.

Group behind us called to complain about our pace of play but we were right on group ahead. Ranger did apologize. Per GPS we were never more than 1 or 2 minutes behind. Group behind must gave thought they were at a track meet instead of golfinf

Grabbed a great hot deal on golf now. Fairways and greens were in great shape. For desert golf the fairways are generous and pretty wide. Some amazing views of the valley and mountains. Greens putted very true and putts held there lines. I would recommend playing this course and putting on your list, a must play. Food in the restaurant was fantastic, loved the fish tacos. Had a great day at Verrado.

Started off with a rude ranger yelling our last name on the practice facility telling our group to hurry up to the first tee box (which was actually the 10th tee that day, but the pro shop didn’t tell us upon checking in). When I asked him what time it was, he snapped back “8 minutes till your tee time’”. Of course we had to stop 20 yards before the tee boxes because the group ahead of us was still teeing off. So instead of hitting another dozen balls on the range for the next 5 minutes, we get to talk to the nice ranger. What a jerk.

The greens looked like the surface of the moon. Either no one fixes ballmarks anymore or the greens keepers do a poor job of fixing them. It’s a shame because this is easily one of the best publicly accessible courses in the state. Sand traps were fine, fairways were in good shape, challenging but fair, although pace of play could’ve been better. I’d play it again. Maybe after the ranger returns to the Monterey Penninsula with his attitude.
