Riverwalk Golf Club
About
A collaborative effort by Ted Robinson Sr. and his son has resulted in a most scenic championship layout. The championship 18 meanders through mature eucalyptus trees, tall palms, and majestic oaks. Sparkling ponds contrast with the dozens of white sand bunkers and the emerald green, Bermuda grass fairways.

9th Hole Mission Photo submitted by canyonman59 on 12/06/2012
5+ hrs to play 18👎🏻
Nice course, friendly staff, little spendy
Pace if play sucked, 5 hrs 10 minutes to play 18 holes. This was on a Friday, not a Saturday or Sunday.
The pace of play was great! Finished in under 4 hours
Course is in good shape! Greens could be rolled more consistently.
Great Course & Value
I really enjoyed playing Riverwalk! They provide some stunning views on the course, along with amazing water works. They have a nice amenities, a QR code to order food at the clubhouse on the back 9, a driving range with plenty of bays, and great golf carts. The course design really makes the most of the available space!
My only knock on the course is that the holes are close to each other which leads to a higher chance errant balls from other golfers landing close to you / your tee box.
Ordinary
I am from outside the region and I am a golfer with a handicap of 8, very disappointed for the price in addition everything is in extra, driving range, golf cart,Almost 150$ very very expensive for very ordinary golf course
Overpriced
Paying almost $100 per person during the week to play this course is an absolute joke. The staff treats you like dirt and the course is in horrible shape.
Awful Customer Service
I have been playing Riverwalk for almost 20yrs along with multiple groups and players. A very simple resolution turned into the worst display of customer service I think I’ve ever encountered. The total lack of knowledge and service just made the situation worse. I will never play this course again, along with all my group and player friends.
Terrible Customer Service
I had the worst customer service experience possible with the staff at Riverwalk golf pro shop. The Interim general manager has no regard for a golfer. I’ve been playing this course for almost 20 yrs with big groups. I will never play here again and neither will any of my player friends.
Terrible Customer Service
I received the worst customer service from the pro shop and management related to that I could imagine. My group and myself have been laying this course for close to 20yrs. I will never return nor will my friends.
Good location, needs maintenance!
Good golf course,.and thr ocation excrllent in San Diego.
Needs mantenance!
Restrooms dirty!
Shoulda played steele for the rate....
Rate is double if not triple what it should be for a course this level. Conditions are similar to mission trails, bonita etc. 4/10
Seems like a money grab after it was sold for housing development. After ground broke on the friars 9 for housing construction, prices have doubled.
With doubled rates, and 9 less holes to manage id assume it would be easier to keep conditions up to a decent level. They have not.
Steele canyon is same rate and conditions are 10x better.
Golf shop employee said 'greens were perfect'..... they were not. Carpet feel, bumpy, not pure at all. Greens need to be cut and rolled.
Fairways were riddled with dirt and mud patches.
Pace of play is atrocious.
Breakfast sandwiches are good at least. 10/10
Conditions improving
Conditions have improved since the last time I played here. Still a bit pricey for what you get. It has the ability to be a fabulous course in central San Diego which draws tourists and locals alike. It is also a wildlife refuge. Hopefully they don’t turn it into condos or shopping centers.
