About
A collaborative effort by Ted Robinson Sr. and his son has resulted in a most scenic championship layout. The championship 18 meanders through mature eucalyptus trees, tall palms, and majestic oaks. Sparkling ponds contrast with the dozens of white sand bunkers and the emerald green, Bermuda grass fairways.

Good Course but no GPS in a cart
I have not played here for a while, and I noticed that
the GPS in a cart was no longer available. But thanks to the recent rain, the fairway condition looks to have improved. Both Green and Bunker are OK, too. Good course overall this is. Hoping all the bare spots in fairway
will be gone.

Beauty in the Valley
Everything you want from a local track... enjoyable staff, good drinks and greens that putt true...the grounds crew is putting in their hours and the course is showing improvements in the little details...walked a 4 round

Great greens
First time playing this course in over 10 years. Fairways aren’t as good as they used to be, but the greens are very fast and true.
Overall an enjoyable track.

Not worth the rates
There is no way they should be charging these rates for the condition of the course. There are many places in the fairways that are completely baron. Bunkers are atrocious with mostly dirt in them even on a good day. You are lucky to have a beverage cart or a marshal even on a weekend. I only live a mile away and travel wll out of the area for much better courses.

Spectacular Local course in San Diego
This course is one of my favorite in all of San Diego county , Spectacular course to play which is always maintained in pristine shape and is within miles of my residence The convenience and prices always makes for a great round . The layout is great . No complaints from me on all 3 of their 9 hole courses . Presidio , Mission & Friars are great and challenging for beginners to pros . This will be my go to course at least once a week I highly recommend you golf here

Poor fairway condition, tee boxes, too expensive
For $75 on a Friday, this course should be in much better shape. It looks like they are trying. Tee boxes are in bad shape, fairways are mostly horrible. Greens were ok, in all fairness with greens has been raining so the didn’t mow them or roll them. I could’ve walked Torrey North in pristine condition for $52. I will not be back unless golf is free.

Great course play
This course is one of my favorite in San Diego. Great course to play which is always kept up and extremely close to my house. The convenience and great play always makes it a good time. Always look forward to playing here.

To Early to Play
The course was in poor condition due to the overseeding, and a lot of standing water. Should be much better in a month.

Does not look like on the pictures
The golf was at places soaked, other places very dry and patchy. The layout is nice. The was a lot of noisy maintenance for a coming tournament. Overall fair value but I feel like the course did not show its best today.

Hugely disappointing
I have a hard time understanding how a course can get in such bad shape. Somehow the keep the greens ok but the rest is terrible. It’s a shame because there are some fun and challenging holes but most of the time your ball is sitting in mud on the fairway.

Sad times
Ive played this course for 25 years.. its pretty ridiculous what its become.. lower the price if your gonna provide crappy conditions.. the greens are fine.. everything else thumhs down

Slow over priced with favorites local
Slow play. Fun course. Great greens. Fairways are a bit run out and beat up. Tee boxes are beat up. The course is fun to play.
The course has their local favorites that they sneak in to play but all courses do. They’re just a little more evident here and will play up your tail.
Fun course, overpriced at full price
I enjoy this course. The driving range is excellent. The course is fun, however there are bare spots in the fairways. The Sunset course is in very poor condition, which is sad to see.
