Saddlebrook Resort - Pine/Oak

The course was in nice shape, greens a touch slow but this time of year the speed at which grass grows and also the amount of rainfall, it’s expected. The course is fun, but not very interesting. Certainly a resort style course where they sell the ambiance of playing Florida golf.

My wife and I really enjoyed playing this course. The layout is good with both traditional holes and challenging/tricky holes. The greens were in excellent shape. The grass was a little sparse in some approach areas and some tee boxes, but the fairways were primarily in great shape. The staff in the golf shop, on the shuttle carts, and on the beverage cart were all friendly and eager to please. I certainly intend to play this course again.

Group in front decided to play the tips and took at least 25 min a hole. Reached out to the pro shop twice and said they would do their best. No ranger to be found. Overall the track was in good condition. I would look for a hot deal on golf now, other than that it’s not worth it.

The course was in really great shape. I think it’s the best value in Tampa!

My first time here and I will be back. The course was in great shape. The front nine was pristine. The speed of the greens was just right. I was able to go out alone and did not have to wait very long between shots. Just under 4 hours to play on a Saturday morning. The staff was top notch from the valet girl driving me to my car all the way through. Excellent day.

Enjoy this course, greens have a lot of undulations. They’re a little slow but roll true. Fairways in good condition with some bare spots but not a big problem because mostly good shape. Played in under 4 hrs so pace of play was excellent. Would like to play again because course knowledge would’ve made for a better round.

The Palmer course at Saddlebrook has always been very hit and miss for me. Either it is too slow, or it is too wet, or something holds me back from loving the course. This time was different. From tee to green the course was in phenomenal shape. We played a round in 3 hours. Weather was nice. It was really a pleasant day. One thing to note is the greens are tough and if you're going to score well you need to be on with the flat-stick.

Course crowded, had 3 groups with same t-time. Way too pricy for conditions and pace of play.

The Arnold Palmer course at Saddlebrook is one of the most beautiful we've played...ever! We can't wait to go back...soon.

Great course in wonderful shape. Small tough greens for a resort course. Make it all the more challenging. Great fun on a nice day. Treated right from the start. Very good resort golf.

Everything was great. Course condition pace of play the greens ran true the fact that the course is open to begin with was awesome the only offputting thing was at the driving range, the attendant was very keen on making sure that you didn’t hit too many balls. Not sure what that’s all about. The listing said “includes range balls”.

Haven’t played here in over 25 years. That turned out to be a mistake. The course is in excellent condition and is a good layout. Nice course for driving with large landing areas. Greens were holding very well but are on the small size. I was left with some challenging chips. Everyone in the foursome wants to go back. This is rarely an opinion held by this group.

The course is in pretty good shape. The greens look great and are rolling true, not to fast or slow. The tee boxes and fairways have some good and some rough spots. The bunkers are very soft like waking on the beach.

Staff was Very friendly. Still no water to drink due to Covid so bring plenty. Cart girl was out and we saw her twice in the first 13 holes.
