The Links At Bodega Harbour

About
The Links at Bodega Harbour is conveniently situated along the Sonoma County Coast, only an hour from San Francisco and two hours from Sacramento. Its location perched above the Pacific also provides stunning ocean views. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.in 1978, the back nine was the original course before the front nine was added nine years later. Jones designed a traditional Scottish links layout complete with rolling fairways and fast, undulating greens. There are almost 100 bunkers strategically situated throughout as well as thick patches of native coastal rough that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The golf course is not long but it requires both skill and strategy. The final three holes are not only the most challenging, they also boast the most breathtaking views.

Breathtaking
I wish we lived closer because this would be my home course. The layout is a fair test even in windy conditions. Really enjoyed holes 16-18.
Always a great time
18 years ago first
T place I played golf love this place
Magical
If you ever get a chance to play bodega bay... you take it. Greens were perfect. Ocean views on every hole. Finishing holes take you on the beach, and if you're lucky enough to ever play the last 3 holes during a sunset...
Tough
I love this course. The last 5 holes are the best stretch in Sonoma County. Greens are tough but I just love this course.
Worth the drive!
Weather your visiting on vacation or just driving up to go golfing, it’s well worth the trip. The drive here is pleasurable itself. This is probably the hardest course I’ve ever played and I just got back from three days at pebble beach. I think the houses surrounding the very narrow fairways made most of your tee shots very nerve racking. Overall pleasurable day on the links! Will be back!
Beautiful Ocean course
Challenging hilly layout and stunning views It is a must play
Best course ever in terms of scenery and course condition
Had a best golf experience since came to California. Course views are amazing with the ocean and layout of each hole intruiging and seducing. Fairways are well maintained and greens were fast enough to have fun. Really had a good time with 3 local gentlemen, Doug, Jim, and Mark. Thanks guys!
It can be hit or miss here as far as weather
when we started our round at 11:30 it was sunny ,clear skies and beautiful, within 6 holes or so foh rolled in were you couldn't even see what you were aiming at and really cold and windy, that lasted maybe 6 holes then it became somewhat visable not as windy and we were able to see our shots anyway till we finished.
Course is always fun and people who work there are great.Course is in good condition(greens a little bumpy but that could be cured if people repaired there divots and they rolled them occasionally but they did roll pretty fast.
Bunkers had sand and it was nice considering noone rakes them due to covid, but all in all a fun crazy round
Amazing views
Came up to enjoy a family day, and the course with its views didn't disappoint. Was totally overcast and cold but the backdrop to every hole was worth the drive. As everyone mentioned the last few holes right off the beach were pretty amazing.
