The Links at Bodega Harbour is conveniently situated along the Sonoma County Coast, only an hour from San Francisco and two hours from Sacramento. Its location perched above the Pacific also provides stunning ocean views. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.in 1978, the back nine was the original course before the front nine was added nine years later. Jones designed a traditional Scottish links layout complete with rolling fairways and fast, undulating greens. There are almost 100 bunkers strategically situated throughout as well as thick patches of native coastal rough that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The golf course is not long but it requires both skill and strategy. The final three holes are not only the most challenging, they also boast the most breathtaking views.

Beautiful views!

Great views of the ocean and awesome layout! Fairways were in great condition and greens ran true. Teed off at 9:40a in January and took off my jacket & vest by hole 3. It was a perfectly sunny day. Weekday fees are $82 & weekend fees are $112. I’m a veteran and they offer military discounts. My fees on MLK day were $67. This is easily a $100 course & I would’ve been happy to pay that. Holes 16 & 17 are really unique layouts & picture worthy. Can’t wait to get back & play this course again.

Windy, tough lies, blind tee shots.

Greens are good but fairways are mounded and choppy, rough is weedy and balls are too easily lost. Hilly, blind tee shots to chunky hard lie fairway’s. Wind gusts to 40 mph make the course nearly unplayable in the afternoon.

Mike in pro shop got me out on the course after I booked a hot deal for the wrong day! The course layout is challenging from the tips, course is in great condition, greens rolled true, amazing layout, many memorable golf holes!

Best kept secret

This course easily surpasses Pebble Beach. 10% of the price yet an amazing layout. Doesn’t play too difficult. It al depends on the wind. 1/2 hour from Santa Rosa or Petaluma. Highly recommend

Great coastal views

Great fun, quite short but challenging with the wind. Wind is pretty strong in the afternoon. Course staff were very friendly and provided great service. No cart drinks service, order a double before you start to take with you
