Cherry Island Golf Course

Fun course with lots of trees, ponds and creek crossings to make it challenging and beautiful. Fair prices and friendly employees.

Terrible grass on the fairways, couldn't tell if you were in the rough or on the fairway. Greens are in GREAT shape and makes up for the terrible grass on the tee box and fairways. Tee's were rarely on level ground. Price is good, but not worth the drive out there if you don't live in the vicinity of the course, there are better options around sacramento.

Well maintained, difficult layout for a beginner but not extreme. The layout is fun to play and the course is very open.

the greens were in surprisingly good shape. rest of the course was what you’d expect from a muni. hitting bays in the driving range was pretty much all crab grass, but at least it wasn’t mats. not a big fan of the layout (weird doglegs and hazards that go across the fairway). Appropriately priced for the course. Random add: the dashboard of the golf cart was awesome! big enough for speaker, phone, 4 cup holders, and a USB charging port.

Had course to myself .Never a wait .Greens were great .Enjoyed the day

Once on the course, all was fine.

However, the check-in process was hampered by having to walk approximately 200 yard to and from my vehicle to retrieve a mask. This in spite of the fact that there was no one else in the shop, and I was a prepaid patron. The attendant wouldn't even look up my information with me standing outside. Claimed there was a County ordinance. There's not, it's only a recommendation and if they're going to mandate masks they should have signs in the parking lot to notify patrons.

It’s a 18 hole course with driving range. Nice layout. Only downfall was they we not cleaning up the carts. Found wrappers and cob web on it.

First time playing this course and was pleasantly surprised about how nice it was overall. Has a somewhat challenging layout, but It is very fair with nice landing spots off Tee shots. Greens were some of best I’ve played this summer ! Highly recommend, overall great experience, will be back !

A nice course with some challenging holes. And it’s a great value. Staff are really cool too!
