Rustic Canyon Golf Course

Always a nice place to play. Condition is pretty good overall. The only complaint is the greens are rock solid and to land a ball is nearly impossible. I get the whole lynx course but throwing a 60 straight up in the air and the ball rolling off is just silly.

Have never played a links course before so this was interesting. Wide, treeless fairways and very undulating greens that were huge. Some bunkers and barrancas in the way here and there. Course was in pretty good shape. Could have used better signage in spots for next tee box. I thought it was pretty slow for a Wed.; 5 hour round. Will try it again. Good deal.

Course was green green and fairways were the best in the city

Course was in great condition. Greens were rolling true. The greens are treacherous and a 3 putt is an easy thing to accomplish. Local knowledge of the greens goes a long way with this course, suppose I’ll just have to play a few more times

Had a Lovely day. Golf course is well kept. Only issue I had was that I had booked for 2:20 and and when I went there it showed 2:40.

Lots of dirt areas in the fairways and could try to soften up greens some just to make it hold alittle great layout but greens are like the clowns mouth or wind mill on putt-putt course there Undulating enough now just soften them up a bit

Is not an easy course, but a lots of fun to play. The greens are fast and long, not easy to read.

Definitely one of the best value courses I've ever played. Layout is great and course has lots of character and style. Conditions were good but not quite five star as the greens were at times a little fuzzy and inconsistent speeds. Also fairways had some bare spots here and there but those issues were relatively minor. Tee boxes were in good condition and bunkers were pretty well filled and maintained. Only really review courses if they're shocking in good or bad ways and this was definitely a good one

We went out late in the day. Course is in great shape, got around fast.

Nice course, ample landing areas for tee shots, and overall good conditioning. The greens are very challenging with a lot of slope and large foregreens which provide an optical illusion of where the pin is in the green.

Fairways were dry. Greens were below average. The Tees are. Not marked well.

Played, walked, and enjoyed in good company this links style course on a wonderful windy day. As close to the real thing as it comes! And those greens - WoW! Good pace of play too. Keep it up!

Good price, love the layout - no water hazards, but lots of bunkers you have to play around. Relatively flat course, but has some elevation on the back 9 that makes it interesting. Carts have range finders too which is legit

The course is very fun design and good challenging.

This a scenic course, with challenging greens. It always seems to be windy, as it is in a large canyon. Staff is getting friendlier (they used to be the crabbiest bunch in the business!)

We love Rustic, we've played here many times. However, on Sunday, the pace of play was horrible. We started at 1pm and didn't finish past 15. There was SO many people put out at the same time it was 15 minutes waiting between shots. Also, I understand we're in a drought, but the fairways have gone down significantly in the last few months. We played here about 3-4 weeks ago and the fairways have really gotten dry since. I would love to say we'll go back anyway, but that pace of play was really bad. AND Rustic has all these signs around saying to be watchful of the pace of play, funny since they pushed tons of groups out all together to sit and wait. It was painful.
