San Vicente Golf Resort

My wife and I played with another couple and we had a great time. The course is in great shape. It is very beautiful too. Ramona Estates takes care of their golf course, thank you. Golf Now is awesome. Great price and reliable.

Got off early and course was in excellent shape. A great value.

I had heard this was a nice course so I thought Id give it a try. It's a long drive from the city but worth it. I'm a fan of Ted Robinson courses and this one doesn't disappoint. A few of the greens on the back were a little patchy, one was actually pretty bad, but in general the course conditions were decent. They appear to be adding sand to some of the bunkers which is a good thing. If it weren't so remote I'd play here alot.

Pace of play would have been in the 4 hour range but frost delayed the morning players and some of these groups were squeezed back in for two or three holes to complete their rounds (very acceptable to me). Tight driving holes require some knowledge of the course to be in position to approach the greens or to just be on the fairway and not in an adjacent creek or stand of old oaks. Great layout with near perfect greens that were very fast and true. Very enjoyable round of golf.

We played Saturday Feb 23 with a last minute tee time (1:20)..... the course had frost early in the morning and everyone for the rest of the day was delayed. We were originally told that we would have a 10-15 minute delay (with everyone else) but ended up to be a 40-45 minute delay! I'm sure it was frustrating for everyone not just us! The course is in good - very good condition. We didn't see/find any bare spots on the fairways, sand traps we were in was in good shape, and most greens were in good shape..... a few on the back nine needed attention. The last 3 holes were a blur since it was almost dark & we literally ran to try to get all 18 in.

Excellent course with the exception of some greens. they appeared to have some reminants of a fungus as they were rough.

Somewhat reminded me of Mt. Woodson probably due to location. Will definitely play again when weather gets warmer. There was frost delay and it cooled down in the late afternoon.

I got a great deal today on Golf Now. A very pleasant surprise to see that the fairways had been over seeded for the winter unlike a lot of local San Diego courses this year. The greens were in very good condition. To bad it was so cold, but that is not the courses fault. Overall it was great day on the links. This is a must play local course.

Fun, plenty of water holes, mature trees, no major out of bounds issues, friendly to the intermediate player, good atmosphere.

Decided to head out at the last minute. Upon arrival I found the pro-shop staff to be very friendly and helpful. I was running late, didn't realize the course was such a long drive and they were still able to get me out without a problem and never made me feel rushed. Overall the course was in great shape. Fairways were mowed neatly and even. Bunkers were filled with real sand and seem pretty consistant trough out the course. The greens were average speed. Rolled very true. Overall a great experience and would no doubt play there again.

course was great and well maintained.many members carts were passing by the course eventhough player was on the tee shot.

Staff obviosly knows your from golfnow and treats you accordingly. Very poor experience and would highly discourage any golfer focused on their game to play elsewhere

Course was is great shape but two of the greens were really bad (fungus damage I think over 50% of green) and two other greens had minor damage, about 10%.

I am a new golfer and this was my first time to a "long" course (vs executive sized). The only complaint I had was that some of the greens (especially the back 9) were very thin and had some sand showing through. Otherwise the staff was great, the carts were first class and I recognized how bad my game was!!.

I have played this course over 20 years and never get tired of playing it. It is one of the best unknown courses in San Diego County. It is one of my favorites and recomend it highly.

Hot deal was GREAT. cart path only but no biggie, would for sure play again at that price- $17..

Greens had recently been plugged. Much of then course was brown.

This was a good course for the price we paid and was in good shape both tee boxes and greens,it was a little slow the front nine but we were allow to pass at the tenth and we finshed in record time,ate here for the first time and it was alright nothing specail about the price or service. Overall a good deal for the price we paided!

I think the course was in good shape. The couse was easy to navigate and the play was steady.
