Woodcreek Golf Club

The majority of the course was in great shape. There were some large spots on a couple holes that were pretty rough though. The fairways had bounce and runout which was nice. In the summer the fairways are usually pretty wet. The greens were slow as usual. Overall a good course and always a fun place to play.

Golf now Green Fee included “Meal”, female at desk in pro shop had no idea about it. Never got it. Took my 5.00 for key deposit which of course I forgot. No one else does this. Key is always left in the cart anywhere we play. Can’t book singles or regular tee times through golf shop all member based now. This course has to improve so many bare spots in fairways and around greens before they get to a membership level.

While the fairways and greens seem to be in decent shape, the sand traps (read that as rocky, muddy, unkept messes) and Tee Boxes need serious help.!!! Some of the lakes were down, but it’s Northern California and this is a never ending drought year(s). Overall, much better courses in close proximity for less $$$.

Don’t spend the money, play Lincoln Hills or Timber Creek instead

Course condition was what I’d call “ok” greens were in good shape, a little on the slow side. Fairway and areas around the greens we’re a little more hit and miss. While the bunkers were hard and not very “sandy”. Covid is probably placing stresses on golf courses in ways I’m not aware of, like many other businesses. All in all, course is fine, and I’d not hesitate at another round there

I keep giving this course a chance because it’s in my neighborhood. The course is in deplorable condition and so are the bathrooms on the course. Marshall’s do not enforce pace of play and players spend a long time finding their balls off the blue tees. If you can’t find the fairway, move up!

DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING! CONDITIONS ARE HORRIBLE!

Carts are breaking down, no starter, no cart girl and food orders (after the turn) took 10-15 mins to prepare. No need to give appetizer voucher. This use to be one of the nicer course in the area. It’s not anymore.

In drought year we saw standing water in many sand traps, mud in fairways, and over all conditions were terrible.

I will not return till conditions improve greatly!!!!

The course at WoodCreek has seen much better days. Lots of areas that need attention and grooming. The 9th and 18th greens have plenty of geese droppings. Bunkers are very hard conditions- it’s just very hard dirt. The approach on hole number 4 - par 5 has spots that have been over watered and has become a mud path.

Overall, it’s playable but I would not play at a regular price point or normal rate. The greens were recently punched and top layered. Hence, we booked the tee time as a “Hot Deal”.

I hope they can restore the course to better conditions.
