Golfer Reviews
Beautiful day for golf
Today was sunny and reasonably warm for this time of year. The course was in excellent condition with the exception of the greens which had fertilizer applied to them. The grains of the product applied at times affected the roll of the ball when putting. The course has an interesting layout that was challenging and fun as well. Outside dining is available again. The nachos and margaritas were excellent and highly recommended. Overall a very good course for the money.
Cow Pasture
Wow. For the price it’s garbage. Bare fareways , pothole greens, ridiculous! For the price, you’d think they would put the money back into course maintenance. First time back in 15 years and I suddenly remembered why I thought this course was a waste of time and money.
What happened to the Creek?
I understand Sunday afternoon golf. Backed up on the second tee box. Come on man!. I paid a hot deal price of 27.00 for 18 holes. Knowing that we might get 14 in before dark. But 9 then 2 in the dark. The kicker was the POS golf carts.. Not sure where they came from no wind shields , no gps and no charger ports. If you want to charge big boy green fees, step up the game.. My point is $35 for Dark horse two days ago there is no comparison. Maybe in its current condition $25 tops and that would be prime time green fees.
The course is in a very good conditions.
The greens are in very good condition, some fairways needed some TLC. Because of the recent rain, some of the bunkers are filled with water, it is unplayable.
Bad fairways
To expensive for the quality fairways very dry and on top i lost 5dlls on the cart key deposit i think that's a ridiculous charge so i problably never go back.
Course sucks
To start the fairways had verly little green grass and the price was to expensive for the quality of the course the Greens were avg. And they charge me 5dlls deposit for the cart key wich i forgot to return so the 54 dlls i paid for plus 5dlls plus online fees for the quality of the course it was a nightmare price i should it play the Ridge for less then that but was a good experience.
repair your ball mark
slow and lazy golfers in front of us. they would not repair ball marks on the greens. almost 5 hours to play that's insane for a 8 AM tee off time
I was disappointed when I asked to have my own cart and was told I had to pay an additional $15. Which was included in the price I paid through Golfnow. The course itself is in sub par condition. I've played this course many times because I live in the area. The fairways are patched together and have a lot of dirt spots. Definitely disappointed in the overall conditions today.
The course didn’t have enough golf carts to follow the State coronavirus guidelines. Only course that make you share a cart with no household player. Also, the pace of play was extremely slow & the course Marshall didn’t monitor the pace of slower players. Not happy with the outing & will not return in the near future.
Condition
The course is in very poor condition. Fairways patchy with a lot of bare ground. Greens just OK.
SLOW PLAY
teed off at 1215 and didn't finish due to darkness. The reason: There was a group of inconsiderate self centered millenials playing with 7-8 players in one group and no marshal in sight to put a stop to it. Didn't see a marshal after the 5th hole. How can a course allow something like this to happen and not know about it.
