Woodcreek Golf Club

Course condition are mostly good. There are a few places where repairs and seeds are marked to keep out. The sand was hard packed and difficult to play out near the greens. The greens were fast and rolled very well.

As summer commences Woodcreek is just starting to shown some brown spots but overall very playable. Like the challenging doglegs and technical short shots.

Restaurant: Especially this one lady server can be very rude. She has worked there for a while now but an encounter with her is no good. She needs some heavy customer service training!

Very unpleasant....hope you don't run into her. Rest of the staff are very welcoming.

First time playing Woodcreek and was impressed with the course. While it's not the most challenging course in the area (thankfully) there are a few holes that really test your mettle. The staff was fantastic, super friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back!

Fun course to play. Was a little irritated as I signed up to play solo but the same tee time was sold to 3 others and wasn’t informed. Luckily the 3 others were cool people.

Woodcreek is a great value, friendly staff and challenging course.

2nd time in a month that I played Woodcreek. Last time very hot weather over 100 degrees. This time comfortable weather in upper 70's, but a little windy when we started. Really enjoy the layout to this course. Has the feel of a semi-private course, but it's actually owned by the City of Roseville--a muni. Greens are very nice--not too fast, but not too slow. Just right--not bumpy and consistantly green and healthy. Had an enjoyable round.

Some good holes, greens are consistent, staff is friendly. Too many holes were in pretty rough shape (i. e. Dirt where there should be grass). Overall, there are better options close by.

For a City of Roseville muni, Woodcreek is an awesome golf course. Wonderful layout. A lot of big, old oak trees throughout the course. Many challenging holes. The greens were in excellent condition. Not too fast and not too slow. Perfect speed. Greens obviously are taken care of by players, because ball marks are fixed and repaired leaving few scares/marks on the greens. Layout is outstanding. Many doglegs and forced carries to an uphill green. Hot Deal price is outstanding. Enjoyed the very hot day at Woodcreek.

I generally enjoyed this course, and played relatively well (so it isn’t sour grapes) but am unlikely to go back - partly because I often play with my wife, and a couple of the holes are just about unplayable for her as the forced carries are too great. Both the 13th and 14th have large expanses of grassland about 100 yards across.

In addition, the Par-5 5th doesn’t quite seem to know what it wants to be. I’ve played it twice and still find the layout confusing. It isn’t clear where to play your second shot, and it feels like there’s just too much going on.

But the greens rolled nicely and the staff were friendly.

With the virus closing down courses....this would give places time to get their course in shape. Considering that, this was not in that great of shape. Some of the greens were less than average. One was being completely aerated and loaded with sand.
