Woodcreek Golf Club

I don’t know who’s been writing the bad reviews, but they were wrong. This course was beautiful and taken care of. The only thing that I did not like was the driving range uses the artificial mats that weren’t in the best shape and there were no rubber tees in the holes on the mat for your driver. Although they are conveniently sold in the clubhouse. Plus, if the driving range fills up with people, there is not enough parking. But I would highly suggest this to anyone whether you were a novice or an experienced golfer

I was concerned with some of the reviews that I read prior to arriving at the golf course!!??!! They were very mixed, but my group was pleasantly surprised with the conditions of the course!! Fairways were in great condition, greens were good(people need to learn how to fix ball marks🥴🥴🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️)!!! The only complaint is there were some areas that had big clumps of grass around the bunkers and along some of the fairways!!!???

Course was in terrible condition. Pace of play was very slow. Quit on hole #12 after 3 1/2 hours.

Lots of dead spots in the fairways, the ruff needs to be mowed.

Course is improving slowly greens slow and bumpy. Lots of high grass just off of fairways which makes it difficult to find your ball. Fairways haven’t grown in much..

Many cart path only holes. May be better in summer.

I know Woodcreek is busy on weekends and rounds can get up to 5 hours but the pace of play this time was ridiculous. We got to hole 13 and had already been playing for 5 hours and 15 minutes! The Marshall did inform us that they had a tournament going on but did not do anything to speed up the pace. If you’re going to have a tournament at least inform the tee times after them that it may be slow and also don’t book tee times directly after the last tee time of the tournament. Maybe give a half hour space! All in all was terrible. The course looked beaten up and not maintained. Would not go back.

Nearly every hole roped off for cart access. Course dry so why every hole roped?

Will not play there again unless some of the ropes come off.

It didn’t start out well. Got a large bucket and after a few warm up hits, i had to stop due to maintenance cart breaking down picking up balls. Only got to hit about 15 balls and had to leave before they called us. We waited about 30 mins. We got stuck behind a slow 4 some but the big issue is almost every hole was cart path only. At hole 5 it went down to a crawl. It took 2hrs 45 mins to finish 9 holes. The group in front was 1.5 holes behind and didnt try and pick up the pace.Marshall didnt do anything. I couldn’t take it and went in to tell them it was good slow and i was leaving. No attempt to say they could call the Marshall, over me a 9 hole rain check, etc nothing. Won’t play there again.

30 minute delay to tee off after our tee time , due to some frost delay… It hasn’t rained in weeks, of course, wasn’t even muddy, but they had half the holes cartpath only. Piece of plate was absolutely awful, had to wait on every hole and shot. To pay $70 This is ridiculous. Not to mention literally the worst hotdog you could ever have for $10. 7-Eleven has better hotdogs for a dollar
