Woodcreek Golf Club

This course is great. I was able to pitch, putt and use the driving range in different places. The course is extremely well kept and the golf cart comes with a range finder to help distances. I'll be back. Thanks!

Golfnow.com and Woodcreek course made it very easy to play with my semi-retired schedule. The discounts are awesome. the process is easy and I use it almost once each week. I would recommend this to anyone with a PC and web access. I would play Woodcreek again and use Golfnow.com to set up a Tee time.

It was a great day for golf, perfect conditions. So it was nice to see that there were greens keepers out on the course doing their job. Well let me tell you, it showed! Place looked nice and clean! I will be back, but maybe on a weekday to see about getting a better deal.

At one point, three groups were stacked behind each other waiting to tee off the same hole. Better Marshalls would have helped pace of play.

I've played this course several times on this day I wasn't very happy. Tee time was at 3:30 on a Wed. Got there and they told me there's some type of class or mini tournament on the front 9 so we had to start on the 10th which was ok. Then they told me I had to share a cart with someone I've never meet before. I don't mind playing with people I don't know, but to share a cart with someone you don't know is stupid. You get stuck with someone who doesn't shut up or their slow or anything. So if I ever have to share a cart I'll go play somewhere else.

Great layout but intimidating for someone who have never played here before with hidden holes/layout. But it is fun after a couple of rounds here. Great clubhouse and pro shop.
After passing a foursome, it was open from there to 18th hole where there was another foursome - started to rain and they left, but I finished the hole drenched.

Walkable 18, narrow fairways, and challenging greens. Trouble on both sides and lots of gullies.

They had signs in carts talking about slow play but yet everyone and their brother were leaving carts 5 miles from greens or where they were hitting shots from. Just seems like marshall should have been on them a few times. Really screwed up rhythm and timing.

The staff was not friendly and almost didn't honor my golfnow reservation until I showed them my email. I have golfed at this course for years and this is the worst service I had ever received from the staff. I even take lessons at this course, and what a turn off for me coming back. The greens have been infested with some kind of weed or flowering grass. That happens I understand that, but at least mow them! I used to know the greenskeeper that worked there, and the place was always in pristine shape! Even when the greens were punched in the past they used smaller tines and hand sanded them to keep you coming back for more. The Woodcreek staff should take a look at the course, and the staff otherwise they are going to loose more than just my business.

course is in good shape , but greens have yet to be punched or mowed and are a little shaggy . standard roseville muni pace - 30 min late by noon and a 5 hour 15 min round ...

Booked a 10:28 tee time for two, got to the course early, checked in, putted a little, then went to the first tee only to find out that there had been a tournament earlier in the day and that two foursomes were playing through. Nothing was mentioned at the clubhouse about being backed up. Second problem was that there were 8 of us at the tee box, ALL HAVING 10:28 tee times....this is a big problem. So we finally teed off around 10:50 but ended up leaving at 3:10, when we completed the 13th hole due to the incredibly slow pace of play and not to mention the fact that they other twosome we got paired up with were pretty drunk by that point. We inquired at the clubhouse when leaving and the guy at the front desk seemed to care less and said we could talk to someone else.

This course is very beautiful, nayway, have some extra golf balls with you.

I like this course because you dont have to hit driver on every hole... You have quite a few holes that a fade will work, but some where you need a little draw...

Near many of the greens cart travel is allowed, which has caused a hard pack surface instead of grass. Results in a tough chip shot from areas near the greens. The same conditions exist in many areas near cart paths.It appears water is needed on many areas on the course,including tee boxes and some fairways.
Also, I arrived about 2 hours early,hit range balls, practiced putting and chipping. When finished I asked the starter if there were any 2somes or 3somes I could join for an early start. He informed me that their policy would not allow. While waiting for 45 minutes saw severel 2's and 3's tee off and at one point a 15 minute time period with no one teeing off. Stupid policy. I won't return.

Green well maintained as are fairways. Roughs stand up to their name.

To start it off I booked a round for myself on a Wednesday afternoon. Typical early afternoon round by myself would take me no longer then 3 hours. But the head guy said that even though nobody was on the course I had to share a cart with another guy playing by his self. So thank god that gentlemen was super nice and friendly. The course was is horrible shape like always. They still have power lines running through the fairway on hole 5 which is a par 5. Once we made the turn there was a guy sitting on the tee and informed us the club house said to join with us. They new just the way to slow us down more let a walker join on the last 9 holes. On hole 13 a worker comes rudely driving up to the green and starts changeing the hole location. On the 14th a par 3 we tee off to a blue flag. While driving to the green the worker changed the hole to a red flag. I was just in complete disbelief that he thought it was ok to change the hole location in the middle of someone's round. While driving to the 16th a group jumped from another hole and was putting on our green. It was one of the strangest rounds I have ever played. And like I always say after playing this course "I will not play this course ever again no matter how cheap and close it may be to me"

Being as it was a holiday weekend, the course was very busy. Overall the course was in good shape...and for the first time I can remember the course played firm and fast.

Course was in good shape, Cost was fair, Play was slow +5hrs, but that is to be expected on a Sunday afteroon at a city course. Rude staff, I feel like they dont want to be working...overall average experience.

for feb it was ok - they actuaqlly could have used more watering lately - friendly cart service and comes around often - we had fun but the foursome ahead of us was slow -

The course played well today. Very little delays, the pace of play was good. The greens were in good shape.
