Difficult hole #5 par 5, with 2 doglegs and hazard to clear
Fairways and rough mowed but few fairways were aerated with pellets on it
Course disturbances
The course was in decent shape but the mowers followed us throughout the front nine. Course was over watered too!
Needs maintenance
Fresh turf laid is dying
Bunkers have weeds and most look like mossy pools with the ones with no pools, the surface like concrete
Needs serious maintenance if they want to charge the fees they do to play. Could be a great course.
But there are other courses in the area that are in better shape for the same fees or even less
Poor condition
The greenskeeper needs to take the time to get out and see what his sprinklers are doing. Muddy bunkers and everything is over watered. Patchy areas around greens. I won’t be playing here anytime soon.
Slow day
The course was still recovering from the winter rains. Sand traps are all under repair. Fairways and greens were in good condition.
Play somewhere else for the same price
The course is obviously city owned and not maintained too well. We played for Father’s Day, no quick, easy breakfast items like burritos pre-made and ready to go. Staff inside the legends restaurant were not friendly at all and kind of ruined the experience. In fact, we called the restaurant on 9 before the turn to order food. After being hung up on twice, the unfriendly Filipino woman said they were too busy and wouldn’t make our food. This place has a lot of potential but they seem to not care about the customer experience. You could have a better experience playing a similar amount elsewhere.
Better than last time
I hadn't played her for about 6 years because the course was a mess last time. Much better condition yesterday however the bunkers are an absolute mess, basically unplayable.
The rest of the course was in pretty good shape, greens are pretty slow but in good shape.
They really need to tighten up the tee times, lots of 2somes playing that could have easily been paired up to speed up play.

Poor pace of play
If the course had a Marshall he wasn't doing his job. Ended up leaving after 14 holes because we had already been there 4.5 hours. I've played in charity events with a faster pace of play.
