Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Challenging holes, greens good.
I play this course a lot. Holes are challenging, and different. Many courses have holes very similar.
A variety on this course.
Hole in one!
Good course. Greens are tougher than they appear. Don't get too confident.
In any case, East course hole# 12 par three : hole in one! What else I could ask for! ( maybe more witnesses... :)
First round at this course
Overall a good experience. Initial contact with some employees was sub par as we couldn't find anyone for 7-8 minutes to designate our golf cart and we were close to tee off time. Couse fairways in decent shape and greens were great and fast. Rest of course could do with some manicuring and colour.
Needs some attention
I have played this course several times and often middle of the week. I had not played the in a while so came out for an afternoon round. I asked if the course was wide open because I play fast and often alone. The front nine was in fact wide open for the most part until I got to the 8th. I caught up to a 3 some which is to be expected. The pace slowed to a numbing speed often 10 min between strokes from the 11th hole through the 16th when I finally had enough and headed for the parking lot. I had 4 groups stacked up behind me and 2 groups in front. I never saw a beverage cart nor a marshal. I love to see guys out with their wives enjoying a nice day on the course, but sometimes we have to remind learning golfers and not so new golfers there is a pace that we need to keep to provide an enjoyable experience for all on the course. I spoke to 3 other groups in the parking lot that all picked up and left before completing their round. I will play the west course again as it is a fairly pleasant course and generally makes for a quick easy weekday round.
Oh also not sure what was going on but I was going to play the 18th hole after I jumped ahead but the sprinklers were on?

Crazy value. Really good course, greens good, you can see how the team takes care of it. Personally id like to see the paths more taken care of, but i understand that the course is more important.
Nice Layout
The course needs maintenance on the front nine but the back nine are decent. Fairways and some greens were in need of maintenance. Not impressed with course. Would only recommend course if price is right.
