Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Fun course
West course empty on a Sunday with expected rain. No waiting for a 9:23 tee time. Zipped through. Course was a bit soggy from day before. Fun course with not a ton of water hazards making for a fun quick round. I would play again for the price paid.
Greatest Greens Around
Course always has the best greens. They are always fast and true.
Nice course
A little spotty like most courses this time of year. But overall very nice. One of my favorite courses in the area.
Old Style
I enjoy playing this course because of it's Old Style appeal. It's challenging and the greens are always in good shape.
West Course = Dog Track
It had been at least 2 years since I played the west Course at Inverrary. It will be that or more before I do so again. I had played the East Course a couple of times about a year ago and it was pretty decent. That was my expectation for the West course but I was sorely disappointed. The greens were decent, the fairways poor, and the tee boxes terrible. The course has become a dog track. I could find cow pastures in Wisconsin in more playable condition. As our President would say... Sad.
Beautiful latout
Inverrary East course is really beautiful, very picturesque. Used to be part of the PGA back in the day, so it's been well designed. Greens were in fantastic shape as very the fairways. The tee boxes had just been punched which was the only hassle, but the grounds staff were busy working on getting them ready whilst we played. Had a really enjoyable round. Got this in a hot deal as well so I only paid $15. So great value for money. Would definitely recommend this course.
West course
Surprised by the fine conditions .Greens where the best I've seen in the last 20 years. They have done a great job on the west course which I believe is a better layout than the east.Conditions better than bonaventure, woodmont ,or many other courses this year
Poor Conditions
This course borders on unplayable. Greens are challenging, but from tee to green the course is a goat patch. I gave up after 9 holes.
The course in in good shape
Have played the course many times. It is in good condition. The greens were good. Fun course to play. Off season, so course was not busy. It is a lot busier in the winter.
Greens great everthing else poor.
Greens are in great shape. The rest of the course, teeboxes, fairways, and cart paths are in very poor condition.
First time on the West course
Having never played here before, my girlfriend and I decided to give the west course a go. We were greeted at the bag drop by a helpful bag guy who directed us to the pro shop. The pro shop staff was very friendly as well. The starter/cart guy was also nice and helpful.
As usual we warmed up with a few range balls which were fairly priced ($5.00 for 40 balls). The range was lacking. The grass that used to the hitting area for the range is all but gone. So, they have you hitting off of subpar mats which is one of the things I dislike most when using any driving range. As far as the driving range goes, I wouldn't recommend it.
The course itself was in okay condition. The greens were definitely the best part! They rolled fast and were fair. The tee boxes were hit or miss as were the fairways. I wouldn't say any of them were terrible but some were better than others. One thing I found frustrating was that the back tees were missing from a few of the holes. Also, the sand was not very good. Most sand traps were pretty packed down. As with the tee boxes, some of the fairways were pretty nice and others were just okay.
Overall, I would say this course is fun and is a good challenge for anyone. There's a good amount of water and for the price, it's tough to beat. Will return from time to time.
Great course, better price!
This is a great course and I don't think you'll find greens like these for this price anywhere else!
Not at all what it was
A few years ago, this was a nice course. Today, it's in terrible shape. You either play winter rules or you don't play. I will not go back until something major changes.
