Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Course need more care
Owner should spend more money to keep the course in good condition.
Considering the rain storm night before course was in very good shape
Lots of water.
Nice course fire the money on golf now..there's lots of water and traps on the west course which I played..its a good $40.00 course...wudnt pay much more...
Great value for money
From the minute you arrive (in fact, from the minute you go on the website) you can tell this course is not what it once was.... It's a $75 layout in $30 condition - so good on them for only charging ~$30, even at the weekends. Whole course was softer than I expected (lots of mud balls) but greens were rolling nicely as long as you avoided the patches being treated. Played the East, and no weak holes, and a lot of very good ones - including a strong set of par 3s. But tees and fairways are pretty woolly, and there are some scruffy areas (particularly the cart paths). Nice to play a Florida course where the trees are as big a feature as water. Bunkering is excellent, but some of them aren't in great condition. Cool to see the Nicklaus plaque, but certainly not in tour condition any more. However, if you're not looking for a luxurious resort experience, and want to play a great layout for a cheap price, it is highly recommended.
Bad conditions
Lack of sand in bunkers, greens with patches, cartpaths hawfull .. slow pace of play .
Please make some corrections ´cause the layout is great .
Good to play out of season
A good course to play for mid-high handicappers. I recommend that you play non-peak times as in season the course is quite busy with Snowbirds who at times can be annoying. They play 5somes and can be very slow. I am a resident of South Florida and have had many an experience playing behind these groups so I know of what I speak . Also if you talk to the rangers and other staff you can get these same sentiments. Beware when it's windy as the par 3's can be difficult as the greens are guarded by water! Course management is recommended.
Poor conditions
Course has been over watered at night leading to pooling water on greens and approaches.
East Course is much better than the west. No comparison.
Good Price rough course
Had a great deal through golf now for $13.00 cart included but unlike other courses this course was in rough shape. Couldn't complain for the price but I would never play this course for one dollar more
Fantastic day with very good fast greens. Well kept bunkers and a frenzy staff. So much so we are playing it a 2nd time this week.
