Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Does the course superintendent know the USGA rules
I have been playing golf for over 40 years, and have watched Nicklaus and Trevino win at Inverrary. I was quite pleased to get a tee time at the East course for only $21.00, a bargain. Unfortunately all 18 of the courses holes had unplayable pin placements. USGA regulations state pins are supposed to be no less than ~12ft from the edge of the fringe to create a fair challenge. Every pin was 7 ft or less from the edges (front, back, sides). I hit good shots less than two yards right or left of the pin and was rewarded with an unplayable shot inside of 12 feet. The fringe is too hard making a pitch difficult and but you couldn't putt it because the fringe was very thick and slow while the greens are very fastt. Hitting it long meant putting it off the green and when the flag was in the back. A well hit shot left or right meant you had a shot that bounded off the green with an impossible shot to save par. There is nothing worst than thinking your going to be putting for birdie and finding out you have no chance of saving par. I am excellent at chipping and found myself standing over chips less than 15 feet with no chance of getting the ball within 10 feet. I think the layout is great, but the superintendent has done this great course a great disservice. The pro shop refused to take my money until 10 minutes before my tee time so we hit balls and then came back and paid. Please if you are responsible for anything at this course please remedy this items so this course can be brought up to the level it deserves. I won't be back.
If you like fast greens
The course was in great shape ! The greens were some of the fastest that I have played on other than Doral . They are flawless ! Great value for the summer rate . I will go back
Course is in great shape especially the greens.
First time we played it. Loved the course and we will be back. Fairways were in great shape and the greens were excellent but fast.
Inverrary Golf Club
Overall we had a great experience. Course was challenging but fair. Could have been in better shape but was decent. Very well designed.
Inverrary East
Excellent course, very challenging. Nice to walk where the champions walked before and play the same holes.
Great value
Love playing this golf course. Staff is very friendly and course is well kept. Will be back again and again.
Course is challenging!
Greens were fast...fairways and bunkers were in good condition...tee boxes were in great shape...the only two drawbacks were the cart girls didnt come around until the 13th hole and there was allot of noise from the surrounding neighborhood...great course, just jot as relaxing as you would want for a golf outing.
East side in good shape
The east course was in good shape. The green were very nice but fast. I was impressed how good the course looked without any rain in this area in 2 weeks.
Top knotch
Greens were fast and rolled well. Beautiful lay out in fair condition
Wonderful Greens, Tired Facilities
Inverrary West (along with its sister course) have some of the best greens in South Florida, and for the money can't be beat. The course is moderately challenging, with enough water and traps to keep you honest. The facilities seem to be from the 70s and need upgrading, but they're still adequate and provide a friendly environment. All in all, definitely worth a visit.
Terrific course ...Great Summer Value
Course condition was very good. Greens were particularly impressive. Pace of play was very good. The weakess course feature was the sand traps only had thin layer of sand. Had to change to club with less bounce. Avoid hitting traps and you won't have to adjust your sand game.
Fast greens!
This is the fourth time we've played the East course in the last month or so. The greens are in great condition and super fast. Overall, the course is in very good shape given that we just finished the winter season.
Nice Course for the money!
Really nice course for the money. Greens were rolling nice, Fairways presented decent lies. Will be coming back.
Golfer Couple
Beautiful Challenge golf. It was the first time this year and have made improvements. Beautiful green.
Nice Course
Well maintained course, much better than expected. Tough greens to put.
Great greens and Fairways!
I enjoy the West course more because you'll use every club in your bag off the Tee and thoughout your round. Pace was amazing due to end of "season" in the air. Sand traps weren't in the best shape. My only other complaint is that the flags don't have the Reflectors so that my rangefinder can pick them up. Other than that I highly recommend this course for not only the value, but also challenge and great practice facilities.
Old standby
Course was in great shape, greens extremely fast and challenging. We play here often especially in the summer when the rates come down.
Fast greens
Loved the course. The greens were fast and true. Pace of play was excellent - challenging and fun course
