Walk in the footsteps of pros at the Inverrary Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the golf courses at this club.
The legendary East Course is the signature course, where 15 PGA and LPGA tournaments were played including the Honda, the Jackie Gleason - Inverrary Classics, the Tournament Players Championship and the LPGA Phar-Mor Classic.
It is in excellent condition and is characterized by large, rolling greens, multiple tees, strategically placed bunkers, and lots of water. Its length from the championship tees is over 7100 yards.
The 7th hole is frequently mentioned as among the best par threes in Florida. Playing 199 yards from the back tee, it's all carry over water to a green that is angled in such a way as to look far smaller than it is in reality.

Hole directions
The layout of each hole could be on back of scorecard and or at each hole. The lack of acquarate tee to hole position made our first round a little more challenging along with more evident yardage markers. Otherwise an interesting course and would play it again, good value, well maintained and enjoyable.
Inverrary East
Nice course and would play again.
Played quite long due to major 15 min. rain shower and extreme humidity.
Good place to play
Course is in good condition. Greens are in top shape. Good value for the money spent!
Was as expected
For the price the course was in good shape despite having a lot of rain the day before. The pace of play was really good, finished in about 3.5 hours. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Overall a solid experience.
A "Good Value" Historic Course
Made the tee time on line for $25 (included cart). Clubhouse staff was a bit harried dealing with several customers at once, but were quick and efficient. The starter was very polite and friendly, one of the best I've run across in years, and clearly explained the situation with respect to our tee time (we had time to go to the range and might still start a bit early if desired). It was a hot day, so we appreciated the ice and water dispenser near the starter shack. Driving range was off mats on this day. Large practice green near the driving range and another near the #1 tee for the West course - nice way to kill time if you are waiting your turn, but we went right to the tee box. Tee boxes were a bit thin on grass in spots, but mostly level. Fairways had some bare spots, and were pretty soft, so we didn't get much roll. Greens rolled true and were quite quick! Three rest stations on the course, but the turn is not at the main club house. There were a couple of basic beverage carts making the rounds, though. Overall, a good value. Take the time to look at the history around the pro shop - it's nice to think about playing a course that many of the greats played.
Great course
Very challenging long even from the whites great layout not boring difficult hole location on green!
Blast from the past
Inverrary was a fun and challenging golf course. The pro shop is like going back in time, pretty cool. The course is in great shape and probably the best maintained greens I've seen.
Bonanza
The clubhouse is a disaster and a mid 70s maze to get around. The greens are in great condition ! Course needs a serious update. That said, you get great value for your $$ good course for high handicappers don't expect too much.
My Round
Course is in good condition. Fun to play; challenging. Pace of play was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this course.
First time palying course
The club was old and in need of remodeling, carpet had a moldy smell. Course was in fair condition due to the rainy weather. Cart paths needed replaced. Cart paths were in very bad shape. Green were in great shape and so were the sand traps. I would play this course again for the money if you look past the age of the building and the course.
J brown
Solid overall. Well maintained, not great. But the layout is solid. Must faster better greens for courses in this price range.
Superp greens
East course is a great venue with terrific value for the money.
Course and staff were just excellent. The best greens, which matches any course in south Florida . Thx
Great Course, Excellent Condition
Really enjoyed our round of golf here, greens were nice and true, fairways were in great condition, would highly recommend a round at Inverrary
Lots of sand
Nice challenging course with a lot of obstacles to avoid. We were fortunate to have been paired with two other golfers that had played there previously. Had a morning t time but was 3 groups behind at the first t box? I'm told they have tight t times, I can vouch for that. Had a group that was hitting into us most of the day, "you can't fix stupid". The course was in good shape, but pretty wet on some of the fairways. Staff was excellent, gave us a card that offers 2 free rounds after you play 10 rounds and offered is a free donut as we headed out to play. I'll be back!
East Course
Fun to play. A lot of history involved. Many great champions have won and played there. The clubhouse looks as if it hasn't been remodeled since the 80's. Unfortunately the surrounding neighborhood has gone severely downhill since the course's hay day. Still a fair course, greens are fast and true. I'll definitely recommend and play again
good course well worth it
Inverrary maintains their courses very well, particularly in this drought we are experiencing. Staff were polite and helpful. Enjoyed the day
Cannot beat the price!
1 or 2 greens were beat up but otherwise the course was great. We let 2 singles play through and didn't see a sole after that. Wear sunscreen!
Great greens
We enjoyed playing on the West course. Greens and fairwayswere in very good condition.
Still a good value
The west course is playing well. The greens are quick, but predictable. The fairways are a bit dry. Some of the traps are in need of attention. Overall it is a fun place to play.
