About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Good course
The course was fast, the pace was slow. 4:30 hrs for the round. Starter needs to pair up doubles, too many doubles if they were paired up it would moved along quicker. It’s been very dry, you always got a few extra yards on a drive.

As an avid golfer this course is not good. Greens trash. Fairways burnt. Shorter then all h** from the tips. Bunkers not good. Not challenging one bit. This course is for those who are learning and who are out to screw around. If your looking to play a solid round at a solid golf course, don’t come here.

Course excellence
I love the course variety of fairways. Challenging yet not too bad; Tilly Polly, water & more water. I’d definitely recommend it & come back next year 2024
Fun day of golf
Had a great time at the course, play the round in just under 4 hours. The greens were filled with weeds but still rolled true for the most part, some greens were slow while others were fast so challenging to gage. Overall had fun and really that's all that matters.
The Babe
Older course. Greens good. Staff great! Public course. Nice layout. Good mix of challenging and easy holes. Great that Tampa honors Babe. Wish they would put more money into the course. Would play again!
Fun Play
Just the right amount of hazards to pose a good challenge. Babe gets top marks for providing cold drinking water on the course at various locations. Fairways dry with fair amount of spotty areas, and greens also in fair but playable conditions. Still worth the money nonetheless. No driving range, but they do have a putting/chipping practice area. Best surprise? After teeing off over a pond on a par 3, a fisherman appeared and proceeded to fish! Too cute…
Club house awful
Restaurant closed and snack bar as well. Clubhouse no drinks or water. They did not even care. Poor staff and management. Golf coarse is just ok.
Need some rain.
Course is a bit rough. No grass in fairways. Water holes are challenging!
