Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Rogers Park great deal
We played today at Rogers Park. The course was in good condition considering it was during our oppressive Florida Summer heat. The only issue we found was the green were pretty furry. That was our only issue. Everything was just great. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We caught a fantastic deal here on GN.
Love the course
The course is in pretty good shape. Pace was good. The staff was very friendly.
Nice course
The course is in great condition. I would recommend it to everyone. The staff are very friendly.
Great day!
Originally booked to play on the 16th and got rained out by the second hole. Came back to finish play yesterday - after a brief rainstorm, we were able to play through. Amazing course and great conditions - greens were recently aerated which they set clear expectations of prior so no complaints there.
Not a good time to play
Without notice and no advance warning from Golfnow, I got to the course and discovered only the front 9 was open. On top of that. They had just punched and sanded the greens. By sand I mean they just dumped sand on top of the greens. No visible green was showing. The tee boxes had not been mowed nor had the rough. Almost every sand trap had water in the bottom. The worst part was they did not tell me that the 1st Tee organization was holding camps. Not a big deal until there is three groups of campers walking in front of you. Made for a long 9 holes. I expect better from a City course.
Late review - course condition issues
So this was two weeks ago, but these were the worst greens I’ve been on in a long time. Like laughingly bad, plus of course I brought out of town people there, and there were thinking I played a joke on them.
Some holes almost half of the greens were dead, others the tee box was just sand
Rogers Park
Course allowed five and even six players in the same group. That’s not proper. Why?
Greens need work
The layout, tees and fairways were decent but most of the putting surfaces are in dire shape. Hard to recommend at this time.
Course is worn out
A year ago I would have recommended this course
….. but now, no. This course didn’t have a single intact green not covered in sand, dead spots and punched out greens that never had the grass grow back.
If you are not dead center fairway, chances are you are getting from dead grass, sand, mud, or damaged course.
I play a lot in tampa and as of now 06/18/23 it is no where near worth the value they are charging to play.
… you expect grass to look better during rainy season but this course is worn out. Plus pretty sure the premade hotdogs almost made us like by 12
