About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Overseeded slow greens
The course was in good shape if you kept in the fairways. The tee boxes and greens were overseeded and growing in and should be good soon but now the green were terribly slow in pace. They look like they should be cutting them soon on regular bases.
Fine for beginners, not too difficult
The Course was well laid out.
Fine for exercise and bringing beginners.
Greens quite slow, grass on fairways playable, but not overall regular.
Challenging, Affordable Public Course
We were looking for a reasonable public course close to our Ybor City hotel. Rogers Park fit the bill! Course was in good condition, but the tee boxes were a bit worn. Greens and bunkers were in very good shape. Excellent practice facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely return to this course on our next visit to Tampa Bay.
Location Location Location
I have started to play again with some coworkers and decided to visit Roger’s Park this week. The course location was very attractive as we live within a twenty minute drive. It was a bit more expensive that some other courses we have played in Ruskin and Sun City center but not even close to the same quality of course maintenance. The fairways were very dry and in some areas the grass was like dead. This was the case for 85% of the holes. The course layout was great and the holes were fun to play. We found a few sand traps that were like concrete but that could have been due to rain? Overall we enjoyed our day but it felt like we overpaid.
Awesome
Enjoyed the course and historical significance! Only sore spot was no course ranger! Over 9 member party party on a hole! Outing party of two took over 4 hours! I will definitely return!
Nice surprise
I found this to be a nice alternative to my normal courses around New Tampa and I had a fun day out there. I’ll play again.
No issues with the conditions but I’d rate this below Heritage Isles if that helps.

Course was in good shape and pace was great. Open layout works well if you want a casual, quiet round.

I like the layout. Fairways are in good shape and better than average. Only the greens need to get improved. However I will keep coming

Nice Course
Course conditions were not bad, greens were a bit slow. Surprisingly the course was not that busy.
Good value. Great course for high handicaps
Really open course with little water and woods and no houses which makes it more forgiving for high handicap golfers with those less than stellar shots off the tee. Greens ranged from average condition to bad but if you’re just looking to get on a course and practice your game, this course is a solid value and I would recommend it.
Unplayable
Greens just aerated yesterday and the whole back 9 was closed. Don’t let GolfNow take your money, this is a bunch of BS
Was ok
Greens were decent not terrible but not perfect. A little slow but still good. Rest of course is in good shape considering the heat we’ve had. Pace of play and etiquette was terrible. Other than that was a fairly good round , a little pricey for that course but I will play it again sometime
